Abstract:
A spray coating system has a wash enclosure with an enclosed wash space. A plurality of liquid tanks disperse liquids within the wash space via emitters. A spray enclosure has at least one spray port coupled to an enclosed spray space. A part hanger dimensioned to carry parts, is rotatable about a vertical axis while in the wash space and the spray space. A conveyor may be included, for example, for transporting the part hanger between the wash space and the spray space.
Abstract:
This electrostatic sprayer of coating products with external load, comprises a bowl rotatable about an axis, a turbine for rotating the bowl around this axis, and a plurality of first electrodes distributed around the axis and each capable of emitting, when the sprayer is operating and is at least partly in the direction on an object to be coated, a first ion flux from a first point. The first points are arranged in a first circle centred on and perpendicular to the axis. The sprayer comprises second electrodes each capable of emitting, when the sprayer is operating and mainly or exclusively in the direction of an edge of the bowl, a second ion flux, of the same sign as the first ion flux, from second points arranged in a second circle centred on and perpendicular to the axis, and having a different radius than the first circle.
Abstract:
An electrostatic spray device for spraying a liquid coating product, including a rotating bowl and a device for driving the bowl around a rotational axis, the bowl defining a concave surface for distributing the coating product and an edge which limits an area for the spraying the coating product. The spray device includes an electrode that charges by ionisation of drops of the coating product. The electrode is arranged, in relation to the edge and along the rotational axis, opposite the spray area, between the edge and the device for driving the bowl. A second electrode mounted on a stationary body allows the creation of an electrostatic field for transporting drops. A third electrode, which is also mounted on a stationary body, is brought to an intermediate potential between those of the first and second electrodes during the operation of the spray device.
Abstract:
A nanoparticle coated hydrogel may be formed by a method of electrospraying nanoparticles on to a hydrogel surface includes providing a drug and polymer combination in solvent to an inner capillary of a coaxial capillary spray nozzle. A coating with a drug that releases over time may be provided. Open and closed matrixes may be selectively formed to help modify time release periods.
Abstract:
Provided is an inkjet recording device for performing print control by increasing or decreasing the number of adjustment ink particles, which are used according to the speed of the object being printed even when the movement speed of the object being printed is increasing or decreasing and which are uncharged particles carrying a fixed electrical charge that takes electrostatic bonding into consideration. The present invention is an inkjet recording device provided with an ink container for holding ink that is to be printed on the object being printed, a nozzle that is connected to the ink container and discharges the ink, a charging electrode for charging specified ink that has been discharged from the nozzle, a deflecting electrode for deflecting the ink charged by said charging electrode, a gutter for collecting the ink that is not used for printing, and a control unit for controlling the printing. The inkjet recording device is characterized in that the control unit performs control so that ink particles which are not used for printing and are adjacent to ink particles that are used for printing are charged by the charging electrode.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are different embodiments of a grounding apparatus, system and method, for use, in accordance with some embodiments, to ground an object to be coated in an electrostatic coating process. The apparatus generally comprises a structure and cover moveable relative to one another between a conductor receiving position and a covering position, such that a grounding conductor received therebetween may be conductively coupled therewith and at least partially covered thereby in the covered position. A removable grounding apparatus is also disclosed for positioning on an object support proximate a selected grounding location of the object.
Abstract:
Provided is an electrostatic atomizing device which performs atomization at low cost. An electrostatic atomizing device (M4) is installed in an atomization chamber (10) of a separation apparatus. The electrostatic atomizing device (M4) includes a plate-like inclined surface electrode (101) and a plate-like counter electrode (102) parallel to the surface electrode (101). A solution is diffused by diffusers (108) onto an upper end of the surface electrode (101). The solution flows down along a front surface of the surface electrode (101) while being spread in a thin film form, and is atomized by an electric field between the surface electrode (101) and the counter electrode (102).
Abstract:
A method of detecting a wire break in a high voltage generating device that is configured to detect a wire breakage in a low-voltage cable is disclosed. The method of a wire break includes: detecting whether a wire break has occurred in each of the lines in accordance with a combination pattern of whether the time differential value of an IM signal value of a CW circuit obtained when an operating voltage is boosted is positive, negative, or 0, and whether the time differential value of a VM signal value obtained after the operating voltage is boosted by the CW circuit is positive, negative, or 0; and identifying which of the lines is broken.
Abstract:
An apparatus for spraying and inducing an electrostatic charge upon a liquid in excess of 0.8 millicoloumb/kilogram is connectable to a boom fitted to a vehicle, such as an aircraft, having a dc power supply. The apparatus comprises a nozzle constructed from a substantially non-conductive material and includes a spray tip designed to provide a hollow conical spray pattern. A support member extends from the nozzle and supports a charging electrode for inducing an electrostatic charge upon the liquid sprayed through the nozzle. The charging electrode attaches to the support member and is electrically connectable to the dc power supply. The charging electrode includes a cylindrical portion and a plurality of corona discharge members extending inwardly from a distal end of the cylindrical portion adjacent to the spray tip. The charging electrode is positioned to permit the hollow conical spray pattern to pass unhindered therethrough.
