Abstract:
This disclosure concerns a wireless communication system adapted to establish a feedback protocol between a handheld remote control and at least an adjustable bed controller, the handheld remote control having a memory position user interface adapted to initiate a transmission of a position recall command from the handheld remote control to an adjustable bed controller using the feedback protocol to adjust a position of a bed segment to a preset position from within a predetermined range of acceptable positions stored in memory. The adjustable bed controller is adapted to initiate a communication from the adjustable bed controller to the handheld remote to indicate that the adjustable bed controller has responded to the position recall command.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a medical instrument. Systems and methods are provided for stimulation of the gastrointestinal tract. The medical instrument may include an elongate component having a proximal end and a distal end. The medical instrument may be configured for insertion in a natural orifice of a patient and to traverse the gastrointestinal tract of the patient. The medical instrument may include a handle at the proximal end and a stimulator at the distal end wherein the stimulator may be configured to stimulate the gastrointestinal tract to effect coordination of peristaltic waves.
Abstract:
A dual-penetration anal sex toy for couples is disclosed. For heterosexual couples, this toy is designed to enhance vaginal penetration with an anal-to-anal connection. A cock ring or means for attachment may fix the device against the wearer's perineum and act as a pivot-point to transfer the thrusting motion of the wearer directly to a prostate massaging butt plug. Because of the pivot point and possible simultaneous anal penetration both partners can feel a direct connection with the anal movements of the other.
Abstract:
A distributor for distributing a fluid has a motor, a base member and a rotor, which is driven by the motor and rotates against the base member. The base member has an infeed nozzle and a plurality of outfeed nozzles, while the rotor has a feed channel and a vent channel. The feed channel provides a fluid pathway between the infeed nozzle and one or more first nozzles of the outfeed nozzles and the vent channel provides a fluid pathway between one or more second nozzles of the outfeed nozzles and atmosphere.
Abstract:
A sexual novelty is configured to pleasure a user by simulating sexual intercourse. The sexual novelty includes a bladder which can be partially filled with air to create a pressure within the bladder. A plurality of cavities are on the bladder and sufficiently sized to accommodate a user's penis. A pump is attached to the bladder which can provide slight increases in the pressure within the bladder in order to create different levels of pressure. The penis can move in and out of a cavity to simulate sexual intercourse while the pump can be used to change the pressure during simulated sexual intercourse.
Abstract:
A support apparatus, for use in supporting a device such as a sex toy, the inflatable apparatus comprising an attachment portion and a holding portion which is attached to the attachment portion, and which defines an aperture therethrough, the holding portion having an inflatable element which is operable to adjust the size of said aperture.
Abstract:
This application is related to an apparatus and method for improving venous blood flow in mobility-impaired patients. In one aspect, the apparatus is a motorized or powered rocking chair with a footplate. The rocking chair and footplate rotate through physiologically relevant ranges of motion either at the same frequency or at different frequencies in order to mechanically induce a calf muscle pump action in the dependent legs of a mobility-impaired patient. Artificially inducing the calf muscle pump action in such patients acts to boost the action of the heart and lessen blood pooling in the lower extremities of the legs.
Abstract:
Apparatus and method for relief of arthritic joint pain aggravated due to change in weather, especially cold, rainy weather. The invention offers a practical method to address this pain while allowing user mobility and without being seen with overt medical contraptions. The invention consists of a specialized pressure sleeve with air at a specified temperature and pressure, design to fit joints and specialized clothing to fasten the sleeves. The method describes the usage of the apparatus to achieve the said goal.
Abstract:
The apparatus for immobilizing and treating a subject includes a suitable apparatus for performing mechanical CPR secured to an immobilization casing. The airtight flexible casing is secured to the apparatus for performing CPR, the casing having variable rigidity which varies as a function of the amount of air within the casing. Two or more slots through the casing permit passage of one or more elements of the CPR apparatus to pass through the casing. One or more incompressible windows may be included in the casing to optimize the performance of mechanical CPR by permitting one or more elements of the subject's skeleton to contact the CPR apparatus. A device for evacuating the air from within the flexible casing to control the rigidity of the casing is included within the CPR apparatus.
