Abstract:
An imprint method includes an inspection step of inspecting a substrate to obtain information of a foreign substance on the substrate; and a film forming step of forming a film covering the foreign substance, using the information of a foreign substance on the substrate, wherein the film forming step is performed before the contact step.
Abstract:
There is provided in a preferred embodiment of the present invention a maintenance device having a lubricant reservoir attached to the upper end of a fixed body, and a dynamic body that is slidably engaged and disposed within the fixed body at the lower end thereof. Attached to the base of dynamic body is a trio of cleaning arms. A spring that is internally positioned between the dynamic body and the fixed body biases the dynamic body downward and the cleaning arms to a relaxed position. As the dynamic body retracts upon the application of force by a user, lubricant is released and pumped from the lubricant reservoir and each of the cleaning arms pivot and engage the side wall of the male connector.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing apparatus is disclosed. Systems include an in-line or linear bladder apparatus configured to expand to collect a charge of fluid, and contract to assist with fluid delivery and dispensing. During a dispense-off period process fluid can collect in this bladder after the process fluid is pushed through a fine filter (micro filter). A given filtration rate can be less than a dispense rate and thus the system herein compensates for filter-lag that often accompanies fluid filtering for microfabrication, while providing a generally linear configuration that reduces chances for defect creation.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a metering device for metering, in a manually-controlled manner, a light-curing material present in said metering device, the device comprising at least one reservoir which can be deformed at least in some sections thereof and in which said light-curing material is contained, as well as a metering arrangement for applying the light-curing material.
Abstract:
A changing device includes a feed component, a winder, a desizing oven, a coating component and a sizing component, and the feed component is provided for supplying a carbon fiber material, and a thermosetting resin oil is covered onto a surface of the carbon fiber material, and a desizing oven is provided for removing the thermosetting resin oil form the surface of the carbon fiber material, and then the coating component coats a surfactant onto the surface of the carbon fiber material, and finally the sizing component is used to coat a thermoplastic resin oil onto a surface of the surfactant to form a carbon fiber product to be wound onto a rewinding part of the winder, so as to produce a carbon fiber product with a thermoplastic resin oil coated onto a surface of the carbon fiber product.
Abstract:
Methods, wires, and apparatus for use in cutting (e.g., slicing) hard, brittle materials is provided. The wire can be a super-abrasive wire that includes a wire core and super-abrasive particles bonded to the wire core via a metal bonding layer. This wire, or another type of wire, can be used to slice workpieces useful for producing wafers. The workpieces can be aligned within a holder to produce wafers using the device and methods presently provided. The holder rotates about its central axis, which translates to workpieces moving in orbit around this axis. A single abrasive wire, or multiple turns of wire stretched tightly between wire guides, is then contacted with the rotating holder to slice the workpieces.
Abstract:
A method for hot-dip galvanizing metal tubes, may include placing a rack of metal tubes in an acid bath; removing the rack of metal tubes from the acid bath; placing the rack of metal tubes in a molten bath; removing the rack of metal tubes from the molten bath; and quenching the rack of metal tubes in a shower. The rack of steel tubes may be placed in the molten bath immediately after the rack is removed from the acid bath without further processing therebetween
Abstract:
A coater for coating an electric insulating sheet with coating liquid while sustaining an identical charging polarity of the insulating sheet and the coating liquid in a process for coating one surface of a traveling electric insulating sheet with coating liquid, and a method for producing a coated electric insulating sheet. In order to sustain an identical charging polarity of the insulating sheet and the coating liquid, the coater comprises any one or both of a sheet charger for imparting electrostatic charges to one surface of the electric insulating sheet and a coating liquid charger for imparting electrostatic charges to the coating liquid.
Abstract:
A dispensing apparatus for dispensing adhesive includes an adhesive source and a dispensing member. The dispensing member is movably attached to the adhesive source. A dispensing nozzle is located on the dispensing member to dispense adhesive onto a component. A heating element is also located on the dispensing member to heat the component. Finally, a roller element is located on the dispensing member to apply pressure to the adhesive.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for the surface treatment of workpieces, in particular for the wet chemical pretreatment of workpieces to be painted, are described. The apparatus comprises at least one pretreatment zone operating with a water-containing treatment liquid and at least one drying device for drying treatment liquid adhering to the surfaces of the workpieces. In order to dry the treatment liquid quickly and with a high energy efficiency, the drying device comprises at least one microwave generator with which the treatment liquid is dried.
