Abstract:
A fluidic gas meter including a flow path structure provided with a fluidic element, a cut-off valve, a pressure switch, a flow sensor, a piezoelectric film sensor, an electronic circuit unit, and a wiring board serving as a mother board and having a function of lead wires. Each of the cut-off valve, the pressure switch, the flow sensor and the piezoelectric film sensor are fixed to the flow path structure. The electronic circuit unit is made up of a counter board and a control circuit board. The counter board is mounted with an electronic circuit for counting up flow-rate signals from the flow sensor and the piezoelectric film sensor and a liquid crystal display device for displaying the amount of gas consumed. The control circuit board is mounted with a control circuit for controlling the cut-off valve, wherein each of the cut-off valve, the pressure switch, the flow sensor, the piezoelectric film sensor and the electronic circuit unit is provided with a plurality of terminals extending perpendicularly to the wiring board. The wiring board is provided with a printed circuit for the interconnection among the terminals. The wiring board has a plurality of V-shaped guide grooves formed therein for receiving the terminals and guiding the terminals to through holes formed at an apex of the V-shape of the guide grooves, wherein the terminals form an electrical connection with the printed circuit of the circuit board, thereby avoiding wiring errors.
Abstract:
A method for attaining a tolerance-insensitive connection of a conductor track foil with contact pins of an electrical component. The conductor track foil includes two insulating layers with an intervening conducting layer with lands in the upper layer for soldering the conductive layer to the contact pins of the electrical component. The conductor track foil is lowered, positionally correctly, onto the electrical component by use of a mounting device. The bottom insulating layer and the conducting layer of the soldering lands, which are free of an insulating layer on the top, are pierced by the contact pins extending at right angles to the conductor track foil. The conductor track foil is released by the mounting apparatus. A soldered connection is made between the lands and the contact pins. As a result, an electrically reliably gap free conducting connection is attainable even if the contact pins are eccentrically associated with the soldering lands.
Abstract:
Apparatus for electrically interconnecting a plurality of electronic components. In particular, an electronic interconnection system by means of which a plurality of electronic components may be electrically interconnected without the need for conventional pin and socket arrangements.
Abstract:
An apparatus is provided with a component configured to be operatively coupled to an interface. In a first state, the component is mechanically and/or electrically attached to a substrate. Exposure of the interface to a thermal event that meets or exceeds a first temperature the resilient material is subject to undergo a state change to a second state. The state change includes a physical transformation of the interface, and includes a position change of the component.
Abstract:
An assembly provides a dual function for mounting a port connector on a circuit board and also secures a capacitor to the circuit board. The assembly includes the circuit board and a monolithic plastic frame having a flange, a snap structure, a capacitor cradle, and a socket section. The flange has a fastening structure for fastening the frame to the circuit board. The snap structure for a snap-in attachment of the port connector to the frame is arranged near an end edge of the circuit board. The capacitor cradle for holding a cylindrical capacitor is formed adjacent to the snap structure and is elevated from the circuit board by an air gap. The socket section bears socket contacts for receiving capacitor contact leads.
Abstract:
A liquid food or beverage preparation machine that includes a fluid arrangement and a printed circuit board for controlling one or more functions of the fluid arrangement, with the printed circuit board being enclosed within a substantially impervious housing to protect the printed circuit board from fluid or vapor emissions from the fluid arrangement.
Abstract:
An in-line heating device for a liquid food or beverage preparation machine in which liquid is circulated through the heating device and then guided into a brewing chamber. This heating device includes a thermoblock with a metal mass that incorporates an inlet, an outlet and a heating chamber extending therebetween to form a passage for guiding the liquid circulating through the mass, with the mass arranged to accumulate heat and to supply heat to the liquid; and one or more electric components that are rigidly secured onto or into the thermoblock and that are connected to a printed circuit board or a flex-print arranged to control the thermoblock. The electric components are rigidly connected to the printed circuit board or flex-print, in particular via rigid connector pins or blades or rigid plug and socket members.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a terminal structure of an electronic component, such as a tuner, in which a printed circuit board 1 on which electronic components including a pin header 2 having a plurality of pin terminals, and a case frame 3 housing the printed circuit board and having a notch opening exposing the pin terminals are provided. A guide hole 23 that penetrates from the upper surface of the pin header 2 to its lower surface in contact with the printed circuit board, and a guide axis 33—insertable into the guide hole 23—provided in a press portion 32 are provided, such that the pin header is held between the press portion 32 provided in the case frame 3 and the printed circuit board, enabling the pin header, even a slim, compact one, having a plurality of pin terminals to be fixed accurately to a predetermined position on the board with a predetermined posture.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a power package for an electrical device of an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in an Electric Power Steering (EPS) system, the power package including: a housing which is formed with an upper part and a lower part and is formed to be in a two-step structure where substrate layers are provided on each of the upper and lower parts; a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layer which is provided on the lower part of the housing and has a path line formed thereon to flow a current; and an LTCC layer which is provided on the upper part of the housing, is connected to the PCB layer through wire-bonding, and is formed of a Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics. The power package for an electrical device can expand areas of the PCB and LTCC layers, thereby enhancing freedom degree of design of the PCB and LTCC layers and reducing a size of the entire case.
