Abstract: A method is provided of using morphologically specific free-floating structures as Standards in the pharmaceutical industry to test objects in drug containers. These structures are micropatterned according to a desired pattern. A container is filled with a defined number of the standards, which then can be used as a standard reference for testing other drug products held in a drug container. The testing pertains to optically identifying structures in the drug container that can be similar in size and shape as the standards, or that can be different in size and shape as the standards. The advantage of the method is that imaging systems with tracking algorithms that count and track sub-visible and visible particles in solution can be used to identify e.g. glass flakes and other foreign particles by comparing them to the shape and size of the standard reference particles.

Abstract: Pigment based particles in powder form intended to be used as colourants in a digital print formed by applying dry colourants on a surface, bonding a part of the colourants with a binder and removing the non-bonded colourants from the surface. A panel with a surface including a digitally formed print of macro colourants including a particle body and colour pigments attached to the surface of the particle body is also described. The colourants are arranged in patterns with pigments on an upper and lower surface of the particle body.

Abstract: A release film for producing a green sheet of the present invention includes a base material and a release agent layer provided at a side of a first surface of the base material. The release agent layer includes an ultraviolet curable compound (A) having three or more reactive groups selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryloyl group, an alkenyl group and a maleimide group in one molecule thereof, a polyorganosiloxane (B) and an α-aminoalkylphenone based photopolymerization initiator (C). An arithmetic average roughness Ra1 of an outer surface of the release agent layer may be different than an arithmetic average roughness Ra2 of a second surface of the base material. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent pinholes and variation in partially thickness from occurring to the green sheet.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a terminal with an electric wire includes: forming a conductor exposed portion by removing a resin coating of an electric wire; forming a wire-terminal connection portion by connecting a terminal fitting to a position of the conductor exposed portion; supplying a sealing material made of ultraviolet-curing resin from a nozzle to form a sealing portion covering the wire-terminal connection portion; and curing the sealing material by irradiation with ultraviolet rays from a UV light. During curing of the sealing material, a reflector is used to allow the ultraviolet rays to be reflected toward the sealing material supplied to the wire-terminal connection portion.

Abstract: A double colored nail appliqué, method of manufacturing and using, the appliqué having two different decorations sequentially via the user removing the top coat of a second colored enamel layer to expose an underlying base coat with a different, first colored enamel layer. The base coat is covered by a UV adhesive layer that protects it during the removal of the top coat. The nail appliqué may further comprise a metallic foil layer directly above or below the UV layer; a design imprinted on the top or bottom coat of enamel; and, a clear coat of enamel covering the top coat. Removal of the top coat(s) by the user does not damage the underlying coats/layers. Therefore, one nail appliqué can be used to offer two different appearing manicures without having to apply a new nail appliqué.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method for producing a multilayer coated film which involves obtaining a first layered body by forming, on a film substrate, a wet-coated film including a coating material (A) containing an active energy ray-curable resin which contains a first photopolymerization initiator and a second photopolymerization initiator, the reaction wavelengths of which differ from one another; and forming a pre-cured coated film including the coating material (A) in a dry-to-the-touch state by preliminarily curing the wet-coated film including the coating material (A), by irradiating the first layered body with active energy rays which include the reaction wavelength of the first photopolymerization initiator and do not include the reaction wavelength of the second photopolymerization initiator. The method further includes obtaining a second layered body by forming a wet-coated film including a coating material (B) on the pre-cured coated film including the coating material (A); and obtaining the multilayer coated film by fully curing the pre-cured coated film including the coating material (A) by irradiating the second layered body with active energy rays including the reaction wavelength of the second photopolymerization initiator.
