Abstract: Process of powder coating a substrate (1) having at least one part of reduced thickness (5, 6), such as a raised edge. After application of a powder coating material, the substrate is heat cured. During heat curing, the substrate is locally shielded from the heat source (18) at the position of the part of reduced thickness, e.g., by means of a heat shield (2). Abstract: Provided is decorative film capable of keeping the brightness and that hardly changes in color during the continuous use. Decorative film is disposed on the surface of a resin base located in a path of a beam of a radar device. The decorative film includes: composite particles, each including a silver particle made of silver and compound including nickel and oxygen, the compound adhering to the silver particle so as to partially surround the surface of the silver particle; and light-transmissive binder resin to bind the composite particles dispersed in the decorative film. Content of the nickel is in a range of 0.5 to 30.0 mass % relative to the silver.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cylindrical tube made of polymer material or glass, whose cylindrical inner wall includes a coating of hydrophobic particles having a surface with a peak-to-valley distance of between 100 nm and 50 μm; a process for manufacturing said tube by forming a coating on its inner wall including the steps of displacing a segment of a liquid composition of suspended coating particles within the tube at a constant controlled velocity of at least 2 cm/sec so as to drive a homogeneous liquid film on the inner wall of the tube, letting the solvent of the liquid composition evaporate and the suspended coating particles deposit on the inner wall of the tube, optionally, repeating the two previous steps at least once.

Abstract: Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film giving excellent low temperature impact resistance to a substrate that comprises a metal material and a plastic material. The method for forming a multilayer coating film comprises sequential steps of forming an uncured primer coating film, an uncured first colored coating film, an uncured second colored coating film and an uncured clear coating film on a substrate; and heating the same so as to simultaneously cure these 4 coating films, wherein the aqueous first colored paint and aqueous second colored paint are each a 1-package type paint composition containing a specific hydroxyl group-containing resin and a specific blocked polyisocyanate compound.
