Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing a state of a network host with a multi-thread structure are provided to inspect operation states of multiple network equipments by short time periods. CONSTITUTION: An analyzer(110) receives an inspection target list and a set factor, analyzes them, and sets inspection conditions, when a PING(Packet Internet Groper) is paged. A controller(120) generates PING request message transmitters and return message receivers as many as threads according to the inspection conditions. Transmitters(130-1-130-n) are generated as many as threads and repeatedly transmit a PING request message to a target host. A receiver(140) receives a return message from multiple inspection target hosts or router and transfers a ping process result of each inspection target host to the controller(120).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for operating the CORBA(Common Object Request Architecture) binding valid information using a shared memory are provided to remove the unnecessary binding attempt of a client for the CORBA server by obtaining the binding information and transferring the validity information through the shared memory. CONSTITUTION: A multiple CORBA server(200) includes the CORBA binding validity information. A CORBA binding validity examination part(120) examines the bin ding validity information for the multiple CORBA server(200) at a set time period. The shared memory(130) stores the binding validity information examined by the CORBA binding validity examination part(120). A binding validity information using part(140) obtains the CORBA binding validity information by connecting to the shared memory(130), and decides the CORBA binding attempt for the corresponding CORBA server according to the obtained validity information.

Abstract: A system and a method for measuring network QoS by using a fragmented packet are provided to extract information about network QoS indexes of delay and jitter values at transmitting and receiving stages without adding loads to a network, and extract transmission delay information of a unidirectional transmission path through a cross analysis for packet information of the transmitting and receiving stages, thereby efficiently performing real-time analysis even under limited computing capability environment. A system for measuring network QoS(Quality of Service) by using a fragmented packet comprises the followings: a packet capture/filtering unit(20); a fragmented packet determining unit(21) which determines whether a packet, incoming from the packet capture/filtering unit(20), is a fragmented packet by referring to relevant information of the packet; a message configuring unit(22) which configures a message for quality analysis by using the relevant information if so; and a delay/jitter value analyzing unit(23) which receives the message and the fragmented packet from the message configuring unit(22), and analyzes transmission delay at a sending end of the network and a jitter value at a receiving end.
