Abstract: PURPOSE: A compensation method of the delay of an inverter is provided to apply an output voltage at the right time by compensating the unique delay of the inverter accurately. CONSTITUTION: The software delay of an inverter is instituted as 1.5T corresponding to a theoretical value. A resolver offset correction process is performed(S61). The execution state of the hardware delay calculation of inverter is determined(S62). The resolver offset correction process is performed at a first speed(S63). The first resolver offset is measured(S64). The resolver offset compensation is performed at a second speed(S65). The second resolver offset is measured at(S66).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for sensing the failure of a motor power cable is provided to early sense a poor combination or non-combination of a motor power cable without an additional voltage sensor. CONSTITUTION: A rotary coordinate system is defined. A synchronization coordinate system output voltage command is converted into a rotation coordinate(S63). An output voltage command is converted into a temporal axis(S64). The output voltage command is filtered in a low pass filter(S65). The failure of the motor power table is determined by comparing a low frequency element with a reference value(S66-S68).
