Abstract: PURPOSE: A red tidal current recognition method using PCA(principal component analysis) and roundness is provided to recognize images without having a reference point of a red tidal image by using entropy and the roundness. CONSTITUTION: A vector set of a learning image is constructed by learning a red tide image through PCA(100). A candidate recognition image group is constructed by calculating the roundness of the learning image and inputted image and selecting an image which is close to the roundness(200). Entropy of an image in the candidate recognition image group is calculated(300). The entropy selects a recognition image by calculating the entropy of images in the candidate recognition image group. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of clustering a ship USN using location attributes and residual energy of sensors in a USN system including multiple sensors. The method comprises the steps of: establishing an attribute hierarchy based on locations of the sensors; forming a cluster comprising one cluster head and multiple nodes having an identical location attribute using location attributes of the nodes; selecting a cluster head from among the nodes; transmitting catalog information from the former cluster head to the selected cluster head; and transmitting the updated catalog information from the selected cluster head to an upper level cluster head. According to the present invention, energy consumption for communications among nodes can be reduced by using the location attributes and residual energy of the sensors. Moreover, a cluster head is not replaced with another frequently since residual energy is considered when a cluster head is selected, thereby providing economic feasibility and stable communications among nodes. Abstract: PURPOSE: A distributed advance resource reservation method for blocking data collision in a wireless USB(Universal Storage Bus) network is provided to offer a new private DRP(Distribution and Replication Protocol) reservation method using a two-hop DRP availability IE. CONSTITUTION: A wireless USB host obtains MAR usage availability information from a specific wireless USB device. The wireless USB host collects three-hop range hidden private DRP reservation state information based on the obtained information. The wireless USB host selects a MAS slot which is not overlapped based on the collected reservation state information. The wireless USB host adds a beacon to a DRP IE by transmitting the DRP IE for a wireless USB channel to the wireless USB device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for improving WiMedia network performance for a vessel network is provided to prevent and solve new DRP(Distributed Reservation Protocol) reservation collision by using a 2-hop DRP availability IE(Information Element) and a DRP control field in a vessel network environment. CONSTITUTION: A DRP target receives a 2-hop DRP availability IE from 1-hop distance devices. The 2-hop DRP availability IE includes a bitmap field which is composed of 256 bits corresponding to an MAS(Medium Access Slot) in a super frame. When DRP reservation for a 2-hop distance device is possible, the DRP target sets a bit corresponding to the MAS as 1. The DRP target sets the remaining bits as 0.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A distribution cooperation protocol method based on a multi-hop UWB(Ultra-WideBand) network for marine telematics is provided to avoid interference generated by a device, which is moved in multi-hop environment, or a plurality of devices, which performs data transmission. CONSTITUTION: When interference or mobility, which is generated by nodes which are existed beyond a communication range, is generated, a new resource allocation information element is generated by using a DRP IE(Distributed Reservation Protocol Information Element) and a DRP availability IE in a channel selection process. The DRP IE and the DRP availability IE are collected from all nodes within the communication range. When DT(Direct Transmission) is selected, a source node performs a DRP reservation negotiation process defined by a WiMedia standard.
