PURPOSE: A method for measuring ground compaction is provided to quickly perform through various sections without error. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring ground compaction comprises: a step of collecting soil at the field; a step of making sample of soil containing moisture in each different ratio; a step of hardening the sample soil to maximize dry unit-weight; a step of measuring variation of soil through LFWD(Light Falling Weight Deflectometer); a step of calculating maximum variation; and a step of calculating ratio of variation of maximum variation.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A reinforcing frame for improving the compaction rate and a retaining wall having a backfill reinforcing structure using the same are provided to improve the structural stability of an embanking area by strengthening the restraint force with the earthwork part. CONSTITUTION: A retaining wall having a backfill reinforcing structure using a reinforcing frame(30) for improving the compaction rate is composed of a horizontal part(31) and a vertical part(32). The horizontal part is installed to be parallel to the ground surface. The vertical part is upwardly connected from the horizontal part. The reinforcing frame supports a filler. The filler is arranged in the embanking area built at the back side of the stiff structure. An anchor portion(33) is formed in the front end of the horizontal part. The anchor portion is bent downwardly. The vertical part inclines toward the horizontal part and makes an angle between the vertical part and the horizontal part as the acute angle.

An apparatus for measuring the bearing stiffness of a track is provided to estimate settlement quantitatively to the limit for maintenance and to judge the urgency of maintenance by checking the displayed result value. An apparatus for measuring the bearing stiffness of a track includes a support shaft(10) provided with at least one hanging projection to descend the weight vertically from the appointed height, a weight(20) coupled to the support shaft to make the vertical descent from the appointed height along the axial direction of the support shaft, a shock absorbing device(30) made of a rubber plate having many projections and provided to the bottom of the support shaft to absorb shock when the weight descends, a measuring device(40) composed of a load cell(42) and a displacement sensor(44) and located on the lower part of the shock absorbing device to measure load of the vertical descent of the weight and to measure displacement by the load, and a data processing device(50) connected to the measuring device electrically to process and display data on the load and displacement measured by the measuring device.

PURPOSE: A variable support apparatus for reinforcing a floating sleeper and a reinforcement method of a floating sleeper using the same are provided to stably and continuously support a floating sleeper for a long time without interference with the traveling of a railway. CONSTITUTION: A variable support apparatus (1) for reinforcing a floating sleeper comprises a main body and injection parts (20). The main body is arranged on a cavity formed between a floating sleeper (100) and a roadbed and is composed of a top surface (11) and a bottom surface (12). An inner space where filler (3) is injected is formed by integrating the edges of the top and bottom surfaces of the main body. The injection ports are coupled to the main body to inject the filler into the inner space of the main body.
