    Abstract: Extraction of a metal-complex catalyst enriched stream comprises dissolving e.g. reaction products and by-products, in a reaction medium by an agent containing phosphorous and/or nitrogen atoms, modified organic metal complex catalyst; distillating the catalyst free stream of the reaction discharge; separating high boiling and non-distilled components of the reaction discharge and the sump product of the distillation into a permeate- and retentate- stream and recycling the retentate stream enriched, completely or partially into the metal-complex-catalyst. Extraction of a metal-complex catalyst enriched streams, obtained from the liquid discharge of a metal complex catalyst reaction comprises dissolving reaction products, by-products, non-converted educt, solvent, homogeneous or colloid in a reaction medium by an agent containing one or more phosphorous and/or nitrogen atoms, modified organic metal complex catalyst with a molecular weight of greater than 200 D and free ligands; distillating the catalyst free stream containing low boiling components of the reaction discharge at atmospheric pressure or low pressure; separating high boiling and non-distilled components of the reaction discharge and the sump product of the distillation into a permeate- and retentate- stream, by a membrane-separator device and recycling the retentate stream enriched with the metal-complex catalyst, completely or partially into the metal-complex-catalyst.

    Abstract: A crosslinkable copolyimide consisting mainly of repeating units derived from dianhydrides of given formula and containing primary amine groups, where these are in the ortho, meta, or para positions to the ether function is new. A crosslinkable copolyimide consisting mainly of repeating units derived from dianhydides of formula:(A), diamines of formula (I), diamines of formula (II): where the amino groups are in the ortho, meta, or para position, and 1 or 2 aromatic nucleus H atoms can be substituted by 1-4X alkyl, and diamines of formula (III):and containing primary amine groups, where these are in the ortho, meta, or para positions to the ether function.     Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing N-phosphonomethylglycine from an aqueous mixture containing N-phosphonomethylglycine, ammonium halogenides and alkali halides or earth alkali halides and optionally, organic impurities in a dissolved form. According to the invention, (a) the pH-value of the mixture is regulated to a value of 2 - 8, (b) the mixture is separated by means of a selective nano-filtration membrane, to obtain a retentate rich in N-phosphonomethylglycine and poor in halogenides and a permeate rich in halogenides and poor in N-phosphonomethylglycine and (c) the N-phosphonmethylglycine is prepared from the retentate. The inventive method enables the production of N-phosphonomethylglycine by simultaneously separating the halogenide salts thereof.
