Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a separation membrane in which a film-forming solution can be prevented from reaching a rear surface of a porous support in a step of forming a film, the adhesion between a functional film for separation and the porous support is high, and the thickness can be reduced. In the present invention, the separation membrane includes a porous support having a rough rear surface and a'functional film for separation, and the functional film is disposed on a front surface of the porous support and extends into the porous support.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for manufacturing a yarn package capable of forming a tail bunch with the desired number of turns and preventing troubles such as the failure to obtain the yarn length needed for a yarn terminating process, the unreeling of the tail bunch formed at the end of the bobbin, which may occur if the tail bunch hangs down from a winding bobbin, and the failure to perform a smooth yarn terminating process because of entanglement of the yarn in a conveying truck or a yarn terminating process device. SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing a yarn package includes a yarn winding means for winding a yarn around a bobbin; a tail bunch forming means which regulates traversing-in of the yarn wound around the bobbin; and a means for controlling the tail bunch, which is formed when the yarn is shifted from a full bobbin to another empty bobbin, to the desired number of turns, starting from the time when the yarn is captured in a slit or a yarn capturing part.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically optimize the relation between the transport of a raw material and the working of the raw material at the time of continuously producing a sheet by receiving the raw material without disturbing the raw material flow on the upstream side and providing a buffer means for delivering the raw material while controlling its delivery. SOLUTION: The raw materials 1 successively transported by a belt conveyor 2 in preset cycles T1 are received by a belt conveyor 3 as the buffer means. The raw materials 1 are received by the belt conveyor 3 without disturbing the raw material flow on the upstream side. The delivery of the raw material 1 received on the belt conveyor 3 to a working means is controlled by opening or closing a gate 6. By such a constitution, the opening of the gate 6 is controlled in accordance with the working cycle T2 detected by a tip detecting sensor 11 furnished as a working cycle detecting means, and the delivery cycle of the raw material 1 from the buffer means is allowed to conform to the working cycle T2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform flow distribution in a header and to approximately make uniform the flow velocity of fluid flowing in each piece of hollow yarn. SOLUTION: In a hollow yarn module having hollow yarn bundles 2, a body case 1 housing the hollow yarn bundles 2, a partition wall 3 fixed with at least one end of the hollow yarn bundles 2 being opened, and a header member 4 surrounding the whole hollow yarn bundle opening surface formed on the outer surface of the partition wall 3 and fitted to the body case 1, the hollow yarn bundle opening surface formed on the outer surface of the partition wall 3 is formed into a polyangular pyramid or a circular cone. In this case, the height H of the polyangular pyramid or the circular cone is within the range indicated by the following formula: S/4

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bubbles discharged during the washing of a membrane from staying in a module and to discharge the bubbles smoothly outside the module by forming a fiber bundle embedded inside end surface of a synthetic resin close to the opening end of the fluid discharge nozzle of a cylindrical case side surface. SOLUTION: In a hollow fiber membrane module 1, the position of a fiber bundle embedded end surface Sa of a synthetic resin S is made to agree substantially with the position of the opening end of the nozzle 3A of a cylindrical case side surface. In other words, a part from the end of the cylindrical case to the vicinity of the opening of the nozzle 3A is embedded with a synthetic resin. In this way, air N' can be discharged from the nozzle 3A toward the nozzle opening without forming an air layer stagnation on the upper surface. When the end surface Sa is formed slantingly from the opening end of the nozzle 3A along the inside direction inner wall surface of the cylindrical case, bubbles in the module can be discharged toward the nozzle opening.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase shock absorption at the time of traverse chip turning back by making the traverse chip to include a yarn guide part, a fitting part to fit in a cam groove and a sliding part to slide on a guide rail and making the fitting part to include a part made of a material having its elongation longer than that of the tensile destruction point of the sliding part. SOLUTION: A traverse chip 1 is composed of a guide part 1a which is a part for clamping a yarn, a sliding part 1b which makes contact with a guide rail 2 receives a torque in the peripheral direction of a traverse cam drum and a fitting parts 1c fitting in the cam groove of the traverse cam drum. The sliding part 1b and a part of the fitting part 1c are formed of a material excellent in heatproof/wear resisting property and the rest part of the fitting part 1c is formed of a material having the elongation of a tensile destruction point enlarger than that of the sliding part 1b. When the traverse speed is high, a large shock is generated at the time of turning back of the traverse chip 1, but the most of the shock can be absorbed owing to large elongation of the rest part of the fitting part 1c at the tensile destruction point.
