Abstract: PURPOSE: A vision recognition based high beam automatic control method is provided to remove the accident risk of a counter vehicle by automatically controlling a high beam based on an image. CONSTITUTION: A front image is obtained(S300). Color information regarding each region is compared with a regionally set reference. It is determined whether the present is night or day(S310). A vehicle candidate is detected as one between a preceding car and a corresponding vehicle(S320).
