Abstract: PURPOSE: An intake system of an engine is provided to reduce noises by making air-flow smooth and reducing turbulences when the intake air is re-circulated in tip-out or accelerations. CONSTITUTION: An intake system of an engine comprises a intake line(100), a discharge line(160), a housing, a re-circulation line, and an anti-surge valve(120). The discharge line discharges exhaust gases burnt in a cylinder. The compressor operated with the turbine installed at the exhaust line the housing is installed among the air suction line installs to the inside. A compressor, which is operated by a turbine connected to the discharge line is installed inside the housing. The re-circulating line circulates air from a downstream side of the intake line to an upstream side of the intake line. The anti-surge valve installed in the re-circulating line opens/closes the re-circulating line. In the re-circulating line, a first section which is straight from the anti- surge valve is more than two times than an entrance diameter of the housing.

CONSTITUTION: A measuring system of a turbo charger includes a vibration sensor(150) and a controller(170). The vibration sensor is installed in one side of the compressor(120). The controller calculates the frequency value detected in the vibration sensor and extracts the noise and vibration property of the turbo charger.
