PURPOSE: A composition containing dried powder and extract of chub mackerel fraction is provided to reduce total cholesterol and blood triglyceride content. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating hyperlipidemia contains 0.1-50 weight% of dried powder or extract of chub mackerel fraction as an active ingredient. The fraction of the chub mackerel is head, cartilage, shell, muscle, eye, gill, total body of the fish. A method for preparing the dried powder of chub mackerel fraction comprises: a step of washing and removing foreign material and salt from the chub mackerel; and a step of cutting head, cartilage, shell, muscle, eye, gill, and total body. The extract is isolated using water, alcohol and spirit extract solvent.

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing collagen isolated from the skin of bigeye tuna is provided to produce high quality of collagen with high solubility and emulsion stability. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing collagen isolated from the skin of bigeye tuna comprises: a step for washing the skin of the bigeye tuna which is stored at -30 °C to -100 °C; a step for treating the skin with 0.05 ~ 10.0 %(w/v) of alkali solution; a step for washing and neutralizing with distilled water; a step for adding 0.05 ~ 10.0 N of acid to the skin, then stirring and extracting; a step for separating extracted liquid and residue using a centrifuge; and a step for drying to obtain acid soluble collagen (AC); a step for adding 0.5 ~ 5.0 N of acid; a step for adding 0.5 ~ 10% of pepsin and stirring and hydrolyzing for 1 to 60 hours; a step for separating extract liquid and residue using a filter; a step for adding NaCl to adjust the concentration to 1-10 % and neutralizing precipitates; and a step for freeze-drying to obtain a pepsin soluble collagen (PC).

Cuttlebone powder or an extract thereof is provided to inhibit gastrointestinal ulcer, thereby being used as a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for preventing and treating gastrointestinal diseases. A method for preparing an extract of a cuttlebone comprises the steps of: (a) drying and crushing the cuttlebone to obtain cuttlebone powder; (b) after reacting the cuttlebone powder with about 1-30 times of water, an aqueous solution of NaOH or an aqueous solution of HCl at a temperature of 20-100 deg.C for about 1-24 hour(s), separating a reaction solution and remnants; and (c) after neutralizing and desalinating the reaction solution, concentrating and freeze-drying it. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating gastrointestinal diseases comprises 0.1-50 wt.% of the cuttlebone powder or the extract thereof as an effective ingredient. A health functional food for preventing and improving the gastrointestinal diseases comprises the powder of cuttlebone or the extract thereof as an effective ingredient. The health functional food is in a form of a granule, a tablet, a capsule, a syrup or a drink.

본 발명은 은이온교환수지를 이용한 고도 불포화지방산인 에이코사펜타인산(EPA)과 도코사핵사엔산(DHA)의 분리농축방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 은(Ag)염화물을 에탄올 수용액에 용해시키는 단계와, 전기의 은염화물을 양이온교환수지에 섞어 교반한 후 여과하여 거른 수지를 에탄올 용액으로 세척하여 진공증발기에서 용매를 제거하여 은이온교환수지로 치환하는 단계와, EPA와 DHA가 함유된 이들 지방산메틸에스테르를 핵산용액에 희석하고 은이온교환수지 컬럼에 통액시켜 고도 불포화지방산을 흡착시키는 단계와, 전기의 불포화지방산이 흡착된 은이온교환수지에 용리제로 초산에틸/헥산 혼합용액을 통액시켜 분획물 중에 EPA와 DHA를 분리하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명의 은 이온교환수지는 관능기 중의 양이온이 은이온(Ag + )으로 치환된 RㆍSO 3 + -Ag + 의 상태로서 고도 불포화지방산을 흡착한 후 용리시킴으로써 목적하는 EPA와 DHA를 고순도로 분리농축할 수 있다. 본 발명의 EPA와 DHA는 심혈관계 질환의 예방 및 치료, 뇌의 노화방지, 기억력 향상, 암세포의 억제 등에 효과가 있으므로 건강보조식품 또는 의약품으로 제공하는 데 있다.

PURPOSE: An antimicrobial composition containing calcium powder derived from starfishes is provided. The antimicrobial composition can be added into pharmaceutical medicines and foods. CONSTITUTION: The antimicrobial composition contains calcium powder derived from starfishes, wherein the calcium powder derived from starfishes is contained in an amount of 70 to 80%; the calcium powder derived from starfishes is prepared by freeze-drying starfishes under the vacuum condition; pre-heating the dried starfishes at 80 to 120deg. C, and heating the pre-heated starfishes at 600 to 1100deg. C, preferably 800 to 900deg. C; and the starfishes include Asterina pectinifera, Asterina batheri, Asterina carinifera, and Asterias amurensis.

CONSTITUTION: The anti-microbial composition contains calcium powder separated from the shell of sea urchin, wherein the calcium powder separated from the shell of sea urchin is contained in an amount of 70 to 80%; the calcium powder derived from the shell of sea urchin is prepared by freeze-drying the shell of sea urchin under vacuum, pre-heating the dried shell of sea urchin at 80 to 120deg. C, and heating the pre-heated shell of sea urchin at 600 to 1100deg. C, preferably 800 to 900deg. C; and the shell of sea urchin includes those of Strongylocetrotus nudus and Anthocidaris crassispina.

PURPOSE: Provided are beverage containing an organic acid extract of Laminaria religiosa and a process for the preparation thereof. The prepared beverage is removed from distinctive seaweed smell and has functionality of Laminaria religiosa. CONSTITUTION: The beverage contains an organic acid extract of Laminaria religiosa, lactic acid bacteria and food additives. It is particularly prepared by fermenting the organic acid extract of Laminaria religiosa by inoculating lactic acid bacteria in the amount of 0.1-0.05 wt.% referred to total weight of the organic acid extract of Laminaria religiosa, wherein the lactic acid bacteria includes L. brevis, L. plantarum or the mixture thereof.
