CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating oxidation-related diseases contains pacific saury fraction dried powder or its extract as an active ingredient. The pacific saury fraction dried powder is obtained by: washing the pacific saury, removing foreign material and salt; cutting the pacific saury to intestines, whole body, bone, cartilage, skin, muscle, eye and gills; and performing vacuum-drying or light drying of the fractions. The extract of the pacific saury fraction is obtained by grinding or pulverizing the fractions and extracting with water, alcohol or spirit. Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for culturing zeaxanthin producing strain is provided to massively zeaxanthin with high yield from marine biomass regardless of season. CONSTITUTION: A method for culturing zeaxanthin producing strain comprises: a first step of isolating strain having productivity of zeaxanthin; a second step of sub-culturing isolated strain; a third step of measuring productivity of zeaxanthin; and a step of adding medium at 1~50°C and 10~300 rpm then culturing. The strain having productivity of zeaxanthin is Micrococcus luteus, Vibrio, Pseudomonas, Achromobacter, Aeromonas, Photobacterium, Acetobacter, Gluconobacter, Alcaligenes, or Flavobacterium.
