    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling the knocking of a dual fuel engine is provided for drivers to drive a car in an optimal situation by improving engine performance with control characteristics which are actively varied. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the knocking of a dual fuel engine comprises following steps. Whether or not the knocking occurs is detected(S10). The strength of the knocking is measured if the knocking occurs(S20). If the strength of the knocking is below a predetermined level, the knocking is controlled by the direction injection of sub fuel(S30). If the strength of the knocking is above the predetermined level, the knocking is controlled by delaying ignition timing(S40). The direct injection amount of the sub fuel is reduced(S50). The delayed ignition timing returns to a normal state(S60).     Abstract: PURPOSE: An injector is provided to improve performance of an engine, and to reduce exhaust gas after combustion by injecting fuel individually according to each port with applying the injector to the engine including a single cylinder and two ports. CONSTITUTION: Needle valves(25a,25b) are formed in a housing(21), and moved up and down according to current applied to a coil(28). Fuel is injected from a fuel pump to a combustion chamber with opening and closing nozzles(24a,24b) by the lower parts of the needle valves. Two nozzles are arranged in the end of the housing to inject fuel to two ports individually by an electronic control unit. Two needle valves are formed to supply or shut off fuel to each nozzle. Two armatures(26a,26b) and two springs(27a,27b) are formed to operate each needle valve, and the coil is formed to operate armatures. Performance of the engine is improved, and exhaust gas is reduced with injecting fuel individually according to each port.
