Abstract: Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.

Abstract: An aerosol including an active material powder, a binder, and a gas is prepared. An electric field is formed between a substrate and a porous electrode. The aerosol is electrically charged. The aerosol after the electrically charging is introduced into the electric field. The aerosol passes through the porous electrode and thereby the aerosol is introduced into the electric field. At the time of the aerosol passing through the porous electrode, the aerosol comes into contact with the porous electrode and thereby the aerosol is electrically charged. In the electric field, the aerosol after the electrically charging flies toward the substrate due to electrostatic force. The aerosol adheres to a surface of the substrate and thereby an active material layer is formed.

Abstract: A system and method include a frame member and an applicator. The frame member includes a hollow frame and a distribution component arranged in the interior of the frame. The distribution component includes a base component and a conduit on its exterior surface. The applicator delivers a fluid, which can include an anti-corrosion material, to the distribution component, which fluid is then delivered by the conduit throughout the interior of the frame and ejected through discharge openings of the conduit onto the interior surface of the frame to coat the frame with the fluid. The fluid may form an anti-corrosion coating on the interior surface of the frame.

Abstract: A drench system includes a rotating mount to rotate a workpiece, a showerhead to dispense a fluid onto the workpiece; and a tray to collect the fluid and recirculate the fluid to the shower. A method of repairing or remanufacturing a coating includes abrading a surface to at least partially remove a portion of a coating to leave an abraded surface; applying a sol-gel over the abraded surface; applying a corrosion resistant primer onto the sol-gel; and applying an erosion coating onto the corrosion resistant primer.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and compositions for the liquid-phase deposition (LPD) of thin films. The thin films can be coated onto the surface of porous components of electrochemical devices, such as battery electrodes. Embodiments of the present disclosure achieve a faster, safer, and more cost-effective means for forming uniform, conformal layers on non-planar microstructures than known methods. In one aspect, the methods and systems involve exposing the component to be coated to different liquid reagents in sequential processing steps, with optional intervening rinsing and drying steps. Processing may occur in a single reaction chamber or multiple reaction chambers.

Abstract: A central tubular defines a central flow passage and spray nozzles along an outer circumference of the central tubular. A first brush pig supports a first end of the central tubular. A second brush pig supports a second end of the tubular. An inflatable balloon is at the second end of the tubular. The inflatable balloon is encircled by the second brush pig. The inflatable balloon is configured to cause a first pressure drop across the balloon when in an inflated state and cause a second pressure drop, less than the first pressure drop, across the balloon when in a deflated state. A flow control system is at the first end of the tubular and is configured to regulate fluid exchange with the tubular and fluid exchange with the inflatable balloon.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described including a blood pump that includes an impeller configured to be delivered through vasculature of a subject while the impeller is in a radially-constrained configuration. The impeller is configured to self-expand to a non-radially-constrained configuration, and to pump blood while in the non-radially-constrained configuration. A ratio between (a) a diameter of the impeller when the impeller is in its non-radially-constrained configuration at a location at which the diameter of the impeller is at its maximum and (b) a diameter of the impeller when the impeller is in its radially-constrained configuration is greater than 7:2. Other applications are also described.

(b) a base coating composition containing a coloring agent and,
(c) a clear coating composition containing at least a linear acrylic polyol (c-1) with a hydroxyl value of 80 to 220 mgKOH/g, a crosslinked acrylic resin (c-2) containing 2 to 30 parts by weight of polyfunctional monomer (c-2-1) with 2 to 4 radically polymerizable unsaturated groups per a molecule and 98 to 70 parts by weight of monofunctional monomer (c-2-2) with one polymerizable unsaturated group as a constituent unit, and having a glass transition point of 70 to 120° C., and a curing agent (c-3), and
wherein the coating film layer has a Dupont impact strength of 4.9 J or more at −30° C.
