Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process to integrate sintered components in a laminate substrate. The disclosed process starts with providing a precursor substrate, which includes a substrate body having an opening through the substrate body, and a first foil layer. Herein, the first foil layer is formed underneath the substrate body, so as to fully cover a bottom of the opening. Next, a sinterable base material is applied into the opening and over the first foil layer, and then sintered at a first sintering temperature to create a sintered base component. A sinterable contact material is applied over the sintered base component, and then sintered at a second sintering temperature to create a sintered contact film. The sintered base component is confined within the opening by the substrate body on sides, by the first foil layer on bottom, and by the sintered contact film on top.

Abstract: A fabrication method of a supercapacitor electrode including silicon dioxide microsphere is provided in the present disclosure. The fabrication method includes steps as follows. A slurry is provided, a coating step is performed and a drying step is performed. The slurry includes a plurality of silicon dioxide microspheres, a carbon material, a conductive agent, a binder and a solvent. In the coating step, the slurry is coated onto a substrate to form a coated piece. In the drying step, the coated piece is dried to form the supercapacitor electrode including silicon dioxide microsphere.

Abstract: A method of coating a donor surface with a layer of thermoplastic particles, the method comprising: providing a supply of the thermoplastic particles suspended in a fluid, applying the fluid to the donor surface, in a manner to cause the particles suspended in the fluid to form a substantially continuous particle coating on the donor surface, causing fluid flow within an interior plenum of a housing over a portion of the donor surface partially disposed therein, the fluid flow being of sufficient magnitude to entrain particles that are not in direct contact with the donor surface and insufficient to entrain particles that are in direct contact therewith; and extracting from the plenum fluid and particles which are not in not direct contact with the donor surface, so as to leave adhering to the donor surface a particle coating that is substantially only a single particle deep.

Abstract: A zirconium nitride powder having a volume resistivity of 107 Ω·cm or more in the state of the pressurized powder body hardened at a pressure of 5 MPa, and a particle size distribution D90 of 10 μm or less when ultrasonically dispersed for 5 minutes in a state of being diluted with water or an alcohol having a carbon number of which is in a range of 2 to 5. Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a multi-layer coating structure, comprising the following steps: a) providing a substrate; b) applying at least one base-coat layer, wherein the base-coat layer is substantially free of melamine and derivatives thereof; c) applying at least one clear-coat and/or top-coat layer, comprising at least one polyisocyanate, at least one NCO-reactive compound, and at least one thermally latent catalyst; d) waiting for at least 30 s after step c) such that a film can form; e) curing the multi-layer coating structure while supplying heat. The invention further relates to the multi-layer coating structure that can be obtained from the method according to the invention, to the use of the multi-layer coating structure to coat substrates, and to substrates coated with the multi-layer coating structure.
