    Abstract: Systems and methods for rapidly atomizing and dispensing electrostatically atomized insecticides and similar low electrical conductivity active materials without the use of VOCs. The active materials are dispensed via insertion of a disposable cartridge in a dispensing apparatus. The dispensing apparatus is hand actuated and the exhausted cartridge is minimized to the size of a wad of chewing gum and it is doubly sealed to prevent any residual active material from leaking into the environment. Spray flow and configuration may be user selectable.

    Abstract: A device for determining a target generation condition for a target generator which is driven by a pulse voltage to generate a droplet of a target material may include a detector configured to detect a target generated by the target generator and output a detection signal of the target, and a controller configured to control a pulse duration of the pulse voltage for driving the target generator. The controller can determine whether or not a target is generated by the target generator based on the detection signal, and determine whether or not the generated target includes a plurality of droplets based on the detection signal.

    Abstract: An electrostatic spraying assembly including a housing and a plurality of elongated electrode elements supported within the housing each defining a respective fluid passageway. An electrode header connectable to a high voltage source is supported within the housing in spaced relation to the electrode elements for charging the electrodes to an electrical potential by induction, and in turn, charging liquid directed through the passageways. The electrode header and a resilient valve element supported thereon are movable between retracted and closing positions for controlling the flow of fluid through the electrode passageways for discharge into an electrical field generated by an induction element supported in spaced relation to the discharge ends of the electrode elements.
