Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling vehicles using both gasoline and LPG are provided to prevent the shock and jerk of an engine, since fuel is supplied according to fuel supply time and fuel amount which are mapped according to each RPM section of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling vehicles using both gasoline and LPG comprises a throttle position sensor(13), a determining unit, an RPM sensing unit(14), and a control unit. The throttle position sensor senses the opening degree of the throttle valve. The determining unit determines the acceleration based on the output signal from the throttle position sensor.
