    Abstract: The present invention relates to an edible film compound capable of be used in food packaging and the like and, more specifically, to a film composition comprising proteins extracted from sesame seed meal and a manufacturing method thereof. The edible film comprising the proteins extracted from sesame seed meal of the present invention is able to be used as a processed food packing material since tensile strength is 4.6 times higher than that of generally isolated soy proteins and permeability is 1.1 times lower than that of the generally isolated soy proteins.
