    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for measuring temperature of motor of hybrid electric vehicle is provided to improve the linearity of a temperature sensor and to increase the temperature measuring range of the sensor by adjusting an offset. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring temperature of motor of hybrid electric vehicle is as follows. The temperature of a motor is measured by first and second gain blocks(S220). It determines whether the measured temperature of the motor is within a low temperature section(S230). If the motor temperature is in a low temperature section, the temperature of the low temperature section is measured by the second gain block(S240). The temperature of a high temperature section is measured by the first gain block in case the temperature of the motor has within the high temperature section(S250).

CONSTITUTION: A resistor for sensing short circuit and disconnection is connected between output signal ends of a resolver.
