Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of specific amphiphilic copolymers as synergistic adjuvant for agrotechnical applications. Suitable agrotechnical compositions are also described. Thus, the addition of such copolymers makes possible an accelerated uptake of active ingredients by the plant. The copolymers or salts thereof to be used comprise monomer units (i) based on at least one olefin and/or at least one vinyl ether, (ii) based on at least one ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and/or at least one ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid derivative, and, optionally (iii) based on at least one further copolymerizable comonomer.

Abstract: An agent for use in hair cosmetics comprises: (A) a sleekening agent; and (B) an optionally quaternerized polymer containing either an N-vinylimidazole or a diallylamine or a cationic monomer. An agent for use in hair cosmetics comprises: (A) a sleekening agent; and (B) a polymer comprising (by wt.) either: (1) the composition; (a) an N-vinylimidazole or diallylamine optionally in partly or completely quaternized form (1-100%); (b) a water soluble monomer other than (a) (0-99%); and (c) a radically-polymerizable monomer other than (a) or (b) (0-50%); or (2) the composition; (a) an optionally partly or completely quaternized cationic monomer (1-99.99%); (b) a water-soluble monomer other than (a) (0-98.99%); (c) a comonomer as per (c) in (1) (0-50%); and (d) a di- or poly-functional radically-polymerizable monomer other than (a), (b) or (c) (0.01-10%). In polymer (B), (1) or (2) can be partly or completely quaternized or protonized.
