Abstract:
PURPOSE: An Oryza sativa L. sp. Japonica, Namil(SA)-flo1 plant is provided to cheaply produce rice flour of high quality. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing Namil(SA)-flo1 comrises: a step of inducing mutation of Namil Oryza sativa L. seeds by dipping in a sodium azide-diluted solution; a step of growing the Namil Oryza sativa L. to obtain a plant M1; a step of collecting M2 seeds from M1 and developing by M7; and a step of selecting Oryza sativa L. plant having low grain hardness. The grain hardness of Namil(SA)-flo1 is 2122-4298 g. The period for harversting Namil(SA)-flo1 is 6th, August. A food composition contains Namil(SA)-flo1 plants or seeds as an active ingredient.

PURPOSE: An Oryza sativa L. sp. Japonica, Namil(SA)-flo2 plant and a food composition using the same are provided to cheaply produce rice flour of high quality. CONSTITUTION: An Oryza sativa L. sp. Japonica plant has: 84+/-2cm of length; harvest period on 7 August; 22.2+/-2.0 weight of brown rice; 2257-4237g of grain hardness; 6 of leaf blast resistance(0-9); and 9 of Nilapavata lugens tolerance(0-9). Reproductive cells contain cells or protoplast isolated from leaves, pollen, embryo, roots, flowers, fruits, stems, or seeds. A food composition contains Oryza sativa L. sp. Japonica, Namil(SA)-flo2 plant or seed as an active ingredient.
