Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent some fine irregular surfaces or corrugations at a door surface of a thermal insulated door of a refrigerator and the like by a method wherein a foamed thermal insulation material is filled into the space formed by a glass, an outer plate forming a colored layer at a rear surface of the glass and a colored layer protection film, a door frame fixed to an outer entire surface of the outer plate and an inner plate of the door. CONSTITUTION:A door 10 is constituted by an outer plate 11, an inner plate 13 of the door, and a door frame 12. The outer plate 11 is formed by a glass 11a, a colored layer 11b formed by a transfer printing at a rear surface of the glass 11a and a colored layer protection film 11c. Its outer circumference is formed with a chamferred part 11d. The outer circumference of the outer plate 11 is inserted into a groove 12a of the door frame 12 and integrally fitted to it through a flexible member 12b. Foaming thermal insulation material 14 is filled into the space formed by the outer plate 11, the door frame 12 and the inner plate 13 of the door. In this way, the appearance of the surface of the door can be improved with luster of the glass.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a flatness appearance of a refrigerator door and to enable its manufacturing to be easily carried out by a method wherein an outer frame made of synthetic resin filled with thermal insulating agent in it and another outer frame made of synthetic resin covering a front surface of the former outer frame and forming a door surface are made substantially in flush with each other and both of them are thermally adhered to each other by an ultrasonic melting process. CONSTITUTION:A stepped part 6a is formed at an outer circumference of an outer frame 6, and a depth of the step part 6a is made substantially equal to a plate thickness of an outer frame 5. The outer frame 6 filled with foam thermal insulating agent 8 and an outer frame 5 of a door surface member of synthetic resin layered plate are melted and adhered to each other by ultrasonic waves. Since the outer frame 5 of synthetic resin and the outer frame 6 of synthetic resin are integrally assembled by an ultrasonic melting process, there is no peeling at a melted interface part caused by a thermal shrinkage and further there is no projection toward the door and so a door rich in flatness feeling can be obtained.

SOLUTION: The ion generating device 142 is mounted at an upper part of the refrigerator compartment and the ion generating member 140 is set inside the vegetable compartment 122 so that ions are efficiently circulated together with cold air upward/downward in the refrigerator compartment 120 so that the odor of foods can be prevented. Moreover, only plus/minus ions are generated inside the vegetable compartment 122 without generating ozone so that the gas to accelerate the deterioration of vegetables can be removed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comprehensive freshness-retaining cassette for inhibiting the browning and decay of vegetables and fruits, to provide a storage container installed with the same, and to provide a refrigerator equipped with the same. SOLUTION: This freshness-retaining cassette 10 is formed by sealing natural evaporable components including a browning-inhibiting component 2 and an antibacterial component 12 in a low-permeable package container 6 with a low-permeable film 8. When the freshness-retaining cassette 10 is used, the sealing state is removed to release the browning-inhibiting component 2 and the antibacterial component 12. Thereby, the browning of the vegetables and the fruits are inhibited, while the qualities of the stored vegetables and fruits are retained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for measuring the physical damage state of frozen food in a short time to obtain the numeric value of high correlation with functional evaluation. SOLUTION: An NMR measuring apparatus is used for measuring a time constant. A measuring sample is cut out in 4 mm×4 mm in the frozen state, packed in a Teflon (R) tube of 6 mm in inner diameter and 25 mm in length and kept in a sample tube to be used for measurement. A measuring temperature is 25 deg.C, and pulse separation time is measured on two conditions of 1.65 ms and 5 ms to measure the physical damage state highly correlated to functional evaluation.

SOLUTION: An anti-bacterial means 16 placed at an upper part of a wall surface of a cold air discharging duct 11 is comprised of anti-bacterial material having anti-bacterial substance with 'wasabi' extract immersed into oil-based gel, for example, and a resin case molded into a cylindrical shape for filling anti-bacterial material, for example, and further the inner wall of the resin case is provided with some fine holes. Anti-bacterial substances gasified into gas form from the anti-bacterial material having a high vapor specific weight of the volatile anti-bacterial substances are dispersed through the fine holes in the resin case and then flowed into a refrigerator chamber 5 together with cold air through a cold air discharging port of a cold air discharging duct 11. In addition, in the case that a vapor specific weight of volatile anti-bacterial substances of the anti-bacterial material is low, a mounting position of the anti-bacterial means 16 is placed at the lower part of the cold air duct 11.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve antibacterial effect to obtain a more sanitary refrigerator by providing, in a refrigerator, the interior of which is divided into a plurality of storage compartments through which cold air is forcibly circulated, a deodorizing material, the surface of which is impregnated with antibacterial material, in the refrigerator. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, the interior of which is divided into a plurality of storage compartments through which cold air is forcibly circulated, a deodorizing material, the surface of which is impregnated with an antibacterial material 11, is set in the refrigerator. And a deodorizing material, to which 5wt.% of zinc oxide is added, is set in the refrigerator. If a silver-based antibacterial material 11, for example, is formed on the surface of a base material 10 as a deodorizer and yellow Staphylococcus is applied onto each surface of the deodorizer, growth number after 24 hours of culture at 35 deg.C becomes 10 or less. As a result, antibacterial effect of the deodorizer itself can be improved and a more sanitary refrigerator can be obtained.
