PURPOSE: A video telephony method and a terminal thereof are provided to transmit high definition image data centering around a determined face by determining a current speaker or a speaker whom someone wants to talk with when several people uses a video call function using only one terminal. CONSTITUTION: A face recognition part(12) recognizes at least one face from an image recorded through a camera(11). A speaker decision part(13) uses the image about the face and decides a current speaker. A video color processing part(14) extracts a region around the determined speaker. A communications control part(17) transmits the extracted image to a video call terminal in the other side. The speaker decision part recognizes the lips of people existing in the image and decides the man whose lip is moved over a predetermined time as the current speaker.

PURPOSE: An image processing device and a method for comparing an object shape in real-time are provided to reduce the error in shape comparison depending on the size and arrangement angle of an object by judging the shape similarity. CONSTITUTION: A binary image generator(120) generates binary image data, and a subject connection component detector(130) analyzes the binary image data. The subject connection component detector displays the pixel value of an image in arrangement. A subject property decision unit(140) detects the characteristic information depending on the size and angle. A subject shape acquisition unit converts the component value arrangement. The component value arrange is mapped to an object window. The subject shape comparison unit(180) compares the component value arrangement with the reference component arrangement.

PURPOSE: A call connection apparatus of a mobile terminal and a method thereof using voice are provided to simply implement operation storing a telephone and a name and simply make a call in a process pressing a call button. CONSTITUTION: A controller(150) connects a call to a telephone number in case the telephone number inputted through a keypad input unit(110) is the telephone number stored in a phonebook memory. In case the telephone number which is not saved, the controller acquires the recipient identification voice information corresponding to the outgoing telephone number through a voice input unit(120). The controller stores the telephone number and receiver identification voice information in the telephone directory memory.

A temperature control system and method of hot wire installed in steering wheel using wireless communication includes the portable terminal(50), the steering wheel-mounted heating wire heating unit(20), temperature sensor(30), electronic control unit(10). The portable terminal transmits the target temperature inputted by manipulation of user through the wireless telecommunication. The steering wheel-mounted heating wire heating unit heated up the hotwire(40). The temperature sensor senses the present temperature of the steering wheel. The electronic control unit controls the temperature of the steering wheel.

An electronic apparatus, a cursor position checking method and a recording medium are provided to easily check a position of a cursor on a screen by recognizing an operational action of shaking a pointing device right and left. A pointing device operates motion of a cursor displayed on a screen of a display unit. If a motion signal for the motion of the cursor is received from the pointing device, a pointing controller calculates motion speed of the pointing device(S10). If the calculated motion speed is faster than preset reference speed, the number of reversing a motion direction which is an X axis direction or an Y axis direction is counted(S11,S14). If the counted number is larger than preset number, the pointing controller changes shape of the cursor(S16,S17).

본 발명은 마그네틱 엔코더의 출력신호 보상방법 및 보상장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 마그네틱 엔코더의 출력신호 보상장치는 상기 마그네틱 엔코더로부터 출력되는 정현 파형을 갖는 제1 출력신호 및 제2 출력신호의 신호 크기를 조절하는 아날로그 회로부와; 상기 아날로그 회로부에 의해 조절된 상기 제2 출력신호 및 상기 제2 출력신호를 제1 디지털 값 및 제2 디지털 값으로 변환하는 A/D 컨버터와; 상기 A/D 컨버터에 의해 변환된 상기 제1 디지털 값 및 상기 제2 디지털 값들을 필터링 및 정규화(Normalize)하여 제1 측정값 및 제2 측정값을 출력하는 디지털 필터부와; 상기 제1 출력신호 및 상기 제2 출력신호에 각각 대응하는 제1 추정값 및 제2 추정값과 상기 디지털 필터부로부터 출력되는 상기 제1 측정값 및 상기 제2 측정값을 잔차 그라디언트 알고리즘(Residual gradient algorithm)에 적용하여 복수의 보상변수를 산출하고, 상기 산출된 복수의 보상변수에 따라 상기 제1 측정값 및 상기 제2 측정값을 최적화하여 제1 보상값 및 제2 보상값을 출력하는 신호 보상부와; 상기 신호 보상부로부터 출력되는 상기 제1 보상값 및 상기 제2 보상값에 기초하여 제1 구형파 및 제2 구형파를 생성하는 펄스 생성부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라, 마그네틱 엔코더의 노이즈로부터 노이즈가 포함되어 출력되는 출력신호를 최적화 이론에 기반하여 보상함으로써, DC 오프셋, 위상차, 진폭차, 사인파형의 변형 등과 같은 노이즈를 제거할 수 있다.
