Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertical transferring apparatus for a vehicle installing a guide for precisely inducing the vehicle to a conveyor of an approaching device in order to stably load the vehicle on the vertical transferring apparatus when vertically transferring a personal rapid transit system (PRT) vehicle, continuously and safely, with passengers on board; and, specifically, arranging pressure rollers for approaching to safely fix the vehicle on the conveyor when vertically/horizontally moving the vehicle without a precise control operation of magnetic force and to safely and softly move the vehicle outwards when the vehicle departs from the conveyor. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transferring vehicle vertically. The present invention settles a vehicle stably on a vertical transfer apparatus which is applied with conveyor and elevator. The vehicle is transferred rapidly and continuously. The rapid movement is possible by giving a detection apparatus for recognizing the vehicle at the entrance and exit parts of the vertical transfer apparatus. The stability is improved by comprising a safety apparatus. Abstract: PURPOSE: An on-board control switching device and a method thereof are provided to simplify the structure of facilities by guiding a vehicle to a preset line through the mechanical operation of a steering guideway. CONSTITUTION: A steering guide way(10) is installed on the ground in order to determine the driving direction of a vehicle.
