Abstract: Sistema catalizador para el carbonilado de compuestos con insaturación olefínica o acetilénica con monóxido de carbono y un compuesto nucleófilo, que contiene (a) paladio; (b) una fosfina; y (c) una polietilenimina acilada disuelta de manera homogénea o al menos en distribución coloidal en la mezcla de reacción, que presenta unidades de la fórmula general (I) o isómeros ramificados de las mismas (Ver fórmula) en la que la suma de m+n asciende al menos a 10, y R, independientemente entre sí, significa hidrógeno, restos alquilo, cicloalquilo, arilo, aralquilo, acilo con hasta 30 átomos de carbono o restos hidroxialquil(poli)oxialquileno con hasta 500 unidades alquilenoxi, presentando la polietilenimina (I) los siguientes elementos estructurales (II) o isómeros ramificados de los mismos (Ver fórmulas) en las que R¿ significa, independientemente entre sí, alquilo con 1 a 29 átomos de carbono, y cuyo grado de amidación asciende a un 1 hasta casi un 100%, referido a los grupos amino amidables.

Abstract: A process for preparing a C 13 -alcohol mixture comprises a) bringing a butene-containing C 4 -hydrocarbon stream containing less than 5% by weight, based on the butene fraction, of isobutene into contact with a nickel-containing heterogeneous catalyst at elevated temperature, b) isolating a C 12 -olefin fraction from the reaction mixture, c) hydroformylating the C 12 -olefin fraction by reaction with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of a cobalt catalyst and d) hydrogenating the product from c). The alcohol mixture is suitable for preparing surfactants by alkoxylation, glycosidation, sulfation, phosphation, alkoxylation and subsequent sulfation or alkoxylation and subsequent phosphation.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a C13 alcohol mixture, according to which a) a stream of C4 hydrocarbon containing butenes, which includes less than 5 % by weight of iso-butene in relation to the butene fraction, is brought into contact with a heterogeneous catalyst containing a nickel at a raised temperature, b) a C12 olefin fraction is isolated from the reaction mixture, c) the C12 olefin fraction is hydroformulated by being reacted with carbon dioxide and hydrogen in the presence of a cobalt catalyst and d) is hydrated. The alcohol mixture thus obtained is suitable for producing surfactants by alkoxylation, glycosidation, sulphation, phosphation, alkoxylation and subsequent sulphation or alkoxylation and subsequent phosphation.

Abstract: The mixture described is a mixture of isomeric nonanol diesters of a dicarboxylic acid, selected from the class consisting of a mixture of diesters of adipic acid in the 1H NMR spectrum of which, observed in CDCl3, the ratio of the area under the resonance signals at chemical shifts in the range from 1.0 to 2.0 ppm with respect to TMS to the area under the resonance signals at chemical shifts in the range from 0.5 to 1.0 ppm with respect to TMS is from 1.20 to 5.00 and a mixture of diesters of phthalic acid, in the 1H NMR spectrum of which, observed in CDCl3, the ratio of the area under the resonance signals at chemical shifts in the range from 1.1 to 3.0 ppm with respect to TMS to the area under the resonance signals at chemical shifts in the range from 0.5 to 1.1 ppm with respect to TMS is from 1.00 to 4.00.The diesters of adipic and phthalic acid are suitable as plasticizers for PVC-based molding compositions and have high compatibility, a low cold crack temperature, low torsional rigidity and/or high thermal stability.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for selective hydrogenation of ethylene unsaturated double bonds in polymerizates (P), whereby the polymerizates (P) are reacted with hydrogen in the presence of at least one hydrogenating catalyst, said catalyst being selected from salts and complex compounds of rhodium and/or ruthenium, in an aqueous dispersion of the polymerizates (P) that does not contain more than 20 volume percent of an organic solvent. The invention also relates to the hydrogenated polymerizate dispersions obtained according to the inventive method and to the polymerizates obtained from said polymerizate dispersions. In addition, the invention also relates to aqueous polymerizate dispersions containing polymers (P') which have the structure elements (I), (II) and (III) in accordance with claim 10 and have optional structure elements (IV) and/or (V) in accordance with claim 11.

According to said method, oligomer mixtures derived from cyclopentene of the formula (I) are used as starting material, wherein n represents an integral number between 1 and 15 and R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent, independently of each other, hydrogen or alkyl. The invention further relates to the use of these oligomer mixtures.
