Circuitry for generating a compliance voltage (V+) for the current sources and/or sinks in an implantable stimulator device in disclosed. The circuitry assesses whether V+ is optimal for a given pulse, and if not, adjusts V+ for the next pulse. The circuitry uses amplifiers to measure the voltage drop across active PDACs (current sources) and NDAC (current sinks) at an appropriate time during the pulse. The measured voltages are assessed to determine whether they are high or low relative to optimal values. If low, a V+ regulator is controlled to increase V+ for the next pulse; if not, the V+ regulator is controlled to decrease V+ for the next pulse. Through this approach, gradual changes that may be occurring in the implant environment can be accounted for, with V+ adjusted on a pulse-by-pulse basis to keep the voltage drops at or near optimal levels for efficient DAC operation.

An access point (AP) uses a communication channel resource to communicate with first wireless communication devices using orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) and with second wireless communication devices using carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA). The AP alternates between OFDMA communication and CSMA/CA communication, and—during OFDMA communication—alternating between uplink and downlink communication. Each time period between an end of uplink communication and a start of downlink communication has a duration that is smaller than a time period threshold, and each time period between an end of downlink communication and a start of uplink communication has a duration that is smaller than the time period threshold. The time period threshold is smaller than or equal to a minimum time period required for any of the second wireless communication devices to acquire access to communication with the AP using CSMA/CA.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that support time mask techniques for shortened transmission time intervals (sTTIs) that may enhance low latency communications. Time masks may be identified and applied for transmissions that use sTTIs, in a manner that provides increased portions of sTTI durations having higher transmission power, and thus increase the likelihood of successful reception of such transmissions at a receiver. In some cases, a transmitter, such as a user equipment (UE), may identify one or more sTTIs for transmissions of a first wireless service (e.g., an ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) service). An sTTI may be identified based on a duration of a TTI associated with the first wireless service being below a threshold duration (e.g., a TTI duration of less than 1 ms may be identified as an sTTI).

Channel trending, including determining a number of viewers watching a multimedia program, is achieved in a digital television network. Cached multimedia frames that correspond to portions of the multimedia program are maintained, for example, on a device located on an edge (i.e., in a network edge device) of the digital television network. Embodiments of the present disclosure describe a system and method for dynamically duplicating network packets onto a reliable link. Network devices can be connected by a primary link and by a secondary link.
