Abstract: The present invention relates to a functional safety testing device for train control system software and, in particular, to a functional safety testing device for train control system software capable of inputting test data through specification analysis of an interface used in an actual train control system, receiving the result as feedback, and analyzing functional safety. Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting defects on the exterior of a railway vehicle are provided to periodically scan the exterior of the railway vehicle with a laser radar sensor and judge the defect existence by comparing scanned images with exterior images of the normal railway vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for detecting defects on the exterior of a railway vehicle comprises a laser radar sensor(110), an image processing unit(120), a determination unit(130), and a display unit(140). CONSTITUTION: A platform screen door safety check system for preventing a departure error of a train comprises a PSD control device(10), a PSD safety securing device(30), an interlocking device(40), and a starting signal device(50). The PSD control device controls the opening and closing of PSDs(20).
