Abstract: PURPOSE: An electro-hydraulic VVL(Variable Valve Lift) device is provided to reduce the impact when opening a valve through a stepped portion and a bypass channel. CONSTITUTION: An electro-hydraulic VVL device comprises a VVL housing(20), a master piston(30), a slave piston(50), and an oil control unit. The master piston is installed and slid in the VVL housing and contacts a cam(10). The slave piston is installed and slid in the VVL housing and forms an oil chamber with the master piston. The slave piston opens and closes a valve(100) according to the reciprocating motion of the master piston. The oil control unit supplies/discharges oil to/from the oil chamber.

CONSTITUTION: A VVL device comprises a housing(20), a master unit(40), first and second oil supply units(50,80), a slave piston(60), and a latching unit(100). The housing is installed in a cylinder head(10). The master unit is installed and slid in the housing and contacts a cam(30). The first oil supply unit is formed inside the master unit. The slave piston is installed and slid in the housing and forms an oil chamber(70) with the master unit. A balance shaft module with an oil pump comprises an inlet port(105), an outlet port(110) and a pump housing(100) with a pumping space formed between the inlet port and outlet port.
