    Abstract: Disclosed is an overcharge protection device for a battery. The overcharge protection device includes: a safety fuse connected to the battery; and a safety circuit which is connected to the battery and to the safety fuse in parallel and comprises a short-circuit switch, installed close to a side where the battery is swollen. In a normal condition, the short-circuit switch is open. When the battery is swollen, the short-circuit switch is closed by the battery, which is swollen, and constitutes a closed circuit with the battery and the safety fuse.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A battery pack mounting structure of a vehicle is provided to maximize space utility of the vehicle and to minimize change of an existing vehicle structure by appropriately obtaining mounting space of a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack mounting structure comprises a battery pack, a cooling wind supply unit(7), a cooling wind distribution unit(11), and a discharge duct unit(13). The battery pack is mounted on a center console installation space between a driver seat(1) and a passenger seat(3) in the front and rear directions. The cooling wind supply unit supplies cooling wind from the front of the battery pack. The cooling wind distribution unit distributes the cooling wind from the cooling wind supply unit to a plurality of battery modules(9) of the battery pack. The discharge duct unit cools the inside of the battery pack and discharges the cooling wind discharged through the rear of the battery pack to the outside of a vehicle body.
