Provided is a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet containing a resin layer on a substrate or a release material, at least a surface (α) of the resin layer being opposite to the side thereof on which the substrate or the release material is provided having pressure sensitive adhesiveness, wherein, when a smooth surface of a light transmissive adherend having a smooth surface is attached to the surface (α), one or more concave portion (G) not kept in contact with the smooth surface exist on the surface (α), and the shapes of the one or more concave portions (G) have irregular shapes. The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet has excellent air escape property capable of readily removing air accumulation that may be formed on attaching to an adherend, and has good pressure sensitive adhesion characteristics.

A polyurethane porous membrane is produced by a simple method to be used for at least one of applications of cell culture and cancer cell growth inhibition. The production method of the polyurethane porous membrane to be used for at least one of the applications of cell culture and cancer cell growth inhibition comprises: a first step of forming a layer of a polyurethane material which is uncured, on a substrate; and a second step of supplying water vapor to an exposed surface of the layer of the polyurethane material formed on the substrate, which is away from the substrate, so as to cure the polyurethane material and provide the layer of the polyurethane material with a porous structure having a plurality of irregularities on the exposed surface.

The field of the invention relates to systems and methods for surface treatments, and more particularly to systems and methods for surface treatments, modifications or coatings using micro- and nano-structure particles for both super-hydrophobic and super-oleophobic properties. In one embodiment, a method of treating surfaces to impart both super-hydrophobic and super-oleophobic properties includes the steps of pre-treating a substrate surface; assembling dual-scale nanoparticles onto the surface of the substrate; and treating the dual-scale nanoparticle coated surface with SiCl4 to cross-link the nanoparticles to each other and to the surface of the substrate creating a robust nano-structured topographic surface having both super-hydrophobic and super-oleophobic properties.

A process for the manufacture of a multilayer silicone structure of cured silicone elastomer layers wherein the compositions of each of the curable silicone elastomers are chosen such as to provide excellent layer-to-layer adhesion of the said cured silicone elastomer layers, that is, the layers do not suffer from cohesive failure. The multilayer silicone structures may be used for example for the manufacture of electronic devices, coatings, shaped molded articles, laminates, etc.
