Abstract:
The touch panel of the present invention has a thermally color-changing portion in the vicinity of a connecting portion which is to be bonded by heat. It can be easily checked whether the heat press has been performed at a predetermined temperature when the wiring board is connected to the top and bottom substrates, based on the degree of coloring of the thermally color-changing portion. This allows the touch panel to be manufactured simply and to ensure reliable electrical contact and separation.

Abstract:
An electrooptic device is provided that comprises an electrooptic panel having an image display region for displaying an image and an interface substrate connected to the electrooptic panel via a connection part. The interface substrate has a folding part folded at the connection part toward a lower-surface side of the electrooptic panel and projections extending from the folding part positioned at the lower-surface side of the electrooptic panel. The projections are folded toward a top-surface side of the electrooptic panel so that electronic parts of the projections are opposed to driver ICs that are mounted on an overhanging part of the electrooptic panel.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a magnetic head junction board wherein a laminated plate having a springy metal layer and a conductive layer is prepared. A circuit wiring pattern is formed on the conductive layer by photoetching and the springy metal layer is formed into a predetermined shape by etching. The circuit wiring pattern is provided with a surface protecting layer which leaves holes exposed at the ends of the circuit wiring pattern. Then, the holes are filled with conductive metal to form bump-shaped terminals such that the ends on one side jut out of the surface protecting layer. Lastly, the springy metal layer is bent into a predetermined shape so that the bump-shaped terminals face against each other. Alternative process are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A stacked packaging assembly for a plurality of integrated circuit devices employs a web of flexible interconnect material folded into a `layered` arrangement of parallel web fingers onto which a plurality of integrated circuit devices are surface-mounted. The leads of the integrated circuit devices are attached to interconnect links of the flexible interconnect web. A plurality of heat sink plates are interleaved with the folded web fingers of the stack, so as to engage the integrated circuit devices mounted on the web fingers. The heat sink plates are retained by thermally conductive spacer blocks along their edges. The spacer blocks are clamped together in a compact laminate structure, so as to form a rigid support which relieves mechanical stresses at the folds of the web fingers.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an electrical circuit system comprising electrical conductors on a flexible film and an article of manufacture made thereby, which may be used in place of printed circuit boards and which conductors form connector means for readily connecting to the leads of one or more sides of an electronic package. The electrical conductors also form a means for selectably connecting each electrical conductor from each pin to a selected input or output conductor, comprising a first and second plurality of conductors, such as a matrix having a column of conductors and a row of conductors. The electrical circuit system may be manufactured by numerous methods such as applying a conductive ink or paint by screening, photolithography or drawn by a digital plotter on a plastic film, such as Mylar. The film may include electrical edge connection means to provide input or output to or from said conductors. All or most of the system is integral, thus forming the conductors and the in-line connector portion of the conductors in continuum, using the same conductive material, such as ink, or paint and the same dielectric material, such as ink, or paint. A dielectric covers the appropriate portion of the system.
Abstract:
A printed wiring multiple circuit board assembly fabricated from a single blank, flexible tape carrying a plurality of conductors extending to circuitry carried by the circuit boards. The boards are arranged at right angles to a main tape at the end of tape tabs carrying branching conductors to a board circuitry. The tape tabs are folded and refolded so that the boards come to rest in mutually parallel planes perpendicular to the main tape.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a highly reliable display device. In particular, a display device to which a signal or a power supply potential can be supplied stably is provided. Further, a bendable display device to which a signal or a power supply potential can be supplied stably is provided. The display device includes, over a flexible substrate, a display portion, a plurality of connection terminals to which a signal from an outside can be input, and a plurality of wirings. One of the plurality of wirings electrically connects one of the plurality of connection terminals to the display portion. The one of the plurality of wirings includes a first portion including a plurality of separate lines and a second portion in which the plurality of lines converge.
Abstract:
