Abstract: PURPOSE: A kit containing an antibody which specifically binds to melanotransferrin or a fragment thereof for diagnosing colon cancer is provided to ensure high sensitivity and simply analyze plasma without a biopsy. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for diagnosing colon cancer contains melanotransferrin with an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The expression of melanotransferrin is relatively increased in blood, plasma, or serum from an individual with colon cancer. A kit for diagnosing colon cancer contains an antibody which specifically binds to melanotransferrin or a fragment thereof. A method for detecting melanotransferrin comprises: a step of contacting the antibody with a biological sample of an individual who is suspected to have colon cancer; and a step of detecting melanotransferrin from the biological sample.

A method for preparing the imidazolylalkylcarboxylic acid of chemical formula 2 comprises: a step of performing hetero-michael addition reaction of ethy alkenoate with imidazole compound under the presence of KF/Al2O3 catalyst to produce ethoxycarbonylalkylimidazole compound of chemical formula 2a; and a step of hydrolyzing the ethoxycarbonylalkylimidazole compound of chemical formula 2a to prepare imidazolylalkylcarboxylic acid of chemical formula 2.

Abstract: A breast cancer diagnostic kit comprising an antibody specific to a flavin reductase protein marker is provided to show high specificity and accuracy of diagnosis and diagnose the breast cancer very conveniently using blood of a patient, thereby being usefully used for an early diagnosis of the breast cancer. A kit for diagnosing breast cancer comprises an antibody specific to a flavin reductase protein marker having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 1. The kit further comprises a secondary antibody conjugate where a marker colored by a reaction with a substrate is conjugated, a coloring substrate solution which is subject to the color reaction with the marker, a washing solution and an enzyme reaction stopping solution.
