RNA encoding an immunogen is co-delivered to non-immune cells at the site of delivery and also to immune cells which infiltrate the site of delivery. The responses of these two cell types to the same delivered RNA lead to two different effects, which interact to produce a strong immune response against the immunogen. The non-immune cells translate the RNA and express the immunogen. Infiltrating immune cells respond to the RNA by expressing type I interferons and pro-inflammatory cytokines which produce a local adjuvant effect which acts on the immunogen-expressing non-immune cells to upregulate major histocompatibility complex expression, thereby increasing presentation of the translated protein to T cells. The effects on the immune and non-immune cells can be achieved by a single delivery of a single RNA e.g. by a single injection.

To estimate content complexity of a video, energy of prediction residuals is calculated. The prediction residuals are usually smaller when the video is less complex and more predictable. Scales of prediction residuals also depend on encoding configurations, for example, I pictures usually have larger prediction residuals than P and B pictures even when the contents are very similar and thus have similar perceived content complexity. To more closely reflect the content complexity, alignment scaling factors are estimated for different encoding configurations. Based on the energy of prediction residuals and alignment scaling factors, an overall content unpredictability parameter can be estimated to compute a compression distortion factor for the video. The compression distortion factor, combined with slicing and freezing distortion factors, can be used to estimate a video quality metric for the video.

Controlling access to sensitive data can be difficult during an application development effort. A developer may not be authorized to see the data that is to be used by the application. Credentials used in a development environment to access development data can require modification when the application is migrated to a deployed environment. Changing the code in the deployed environment increases risks of change induced incidents. The technology disclosed allows for the creation of a named credential object, where the credentials for different environments are stored, and where the named credential object is called by metadata. This allows the promotion of code from a development environment to a deployed environment without changes to code, and without giving access to sensitive data to the developer.

This invention provides a method for managing a transaction right in a digital rights management server. The transaction right is the right to a transaction of a utilization right of a digital content item. The method comprises steps of obtaining an attribute associated with the digital content item from metadata of the digital content item; and generating the transaction right on the basis of a pre-stored rule and the attribute of the digital content item. Since the transaction right is generated on the basis of the attribute of the digital content item, or in other words, the transaction right is dependent on the attribute of the digital content item, the generated transaction right of digital content items can be different if the corresponding attribute associated with the digital content items are different. Furthermore, in additional to the metadata, the generation of the transaction right only requires the pre-stored rule, resulting in affordable complexity and cost. Since the transaction right is also dependent on the pre-stored rule, the content providers need not to individually set the transaction right for each digital content item, but are still able to set the transaction right by setting the pre-stored rule.

Dynamically varying transmission rates of a traffic flow over respective portions of a primary band and a complementary band may allow a transmit point to satisfy quality of service (QoS) requirements over a unified air interface. The QoS requirement may stipulate that an overall transmission rate of the traffic flow over the unified air interface exceeds a threshold. Transmission rates may be varied based on a contention level of the complementary band. For instance, during periods of high contention, the transmission rate on the primary band may be ramped up to compensate for a lower effective transmission rate over the complementary band. Likewise, during periods of low contention, the transmission rate on the primary band may be stepped down to compensate for a higher effective transmission rate over the complementary band.

A pipeline ADC architecture with suitable feedback can implement noise shaping. By feeding back the residue generated by the last residue generating stage to selected locations in the pipeline ADC, the delays in a pipeline ADC can create a finite impulse response (FIR) filtered version of the quantization error. The FIR filtered quantization error is added to the signal and evaluated by the pipeline ADC, which results in spectral shaping of the quantization noise. Unlike a conventional pipeline ADC, the output of the backend stage is scaled and filtered by a noise transfer function (NTF) of the residue generating stages prior to combining the output with other outputs of the pipeline ADC. The processing of the shaped quantization noise by the backend stage results in further noise suppression.

An ADC can include a plurality of time-interleaved ADCs to increase the overall sampling rate of the ADC. Such an ADC can have interleaving errors, since the time-interleaved ADCs in the ADC are not always perfectly matched. One way to calibrate for these mismatches is by observing the digital output signals of the time-interleaved ADCs in the background, or more broadly, without knowledge of the input signal to the ADC (often referred to as “blind” calibration). Due to the nature of these calibrations, the performance of the calibration would significantly degrade when the input signal has certain problematic input conditions, such as a certain coherent input frequency. To address this issue, the data being used for calibration of interleaving errors can go through a qualifying process to assess whether to update error estimates based on the data.

A direct current (DC) bus voltage from a combined output of a plurality of DC power modules is controlled based on an alternating current (AC) voltage of a power grid. A method for synchronizing an audio track that is being recorded at a first location with a video track that is being recorded at a second location, such as on a flying UAV, is disclosed. First, the audio and video recorders being to record sound and video. Then, a GPS receive is used to pick up the very accurate GPS clock signal. A real-time clock is also used locally to generate a real-time value. At a predetermined time, the GPS time data is interrogated and a time-stamp is generated. A video encoder is then used to embed the time-stamp, either during recording, or shortly thereafter. A networked audio recording device records audio with a time stamp acquired from the network. These respective time-stamps are then used in post-processing to accurately synchronize the audio and video tracks.

A collaborative speech processing computer receives packets of sampled audio streams. The sampled audio streams are forwarded to a speech-to-text conversion server via a data network. Packets are received via the data network that contain text strings converted from the sampled audio steams by the speech-to-text conversion server. Speakers are identified who are associated with the text strings contained in the data packets. The text strings and the identifiers of the associated speakers are added to a dialog data structure in a repository memory. Content of at least a portion of the dialog data structure is displayed on a display device.

Methods and systems for determining a mood of a human driver of a vehicle and using the mood for generating a vehicle response, is provided. One example method includes capturing, by a camera of the vehicle, a face of the human driver. The capturing is configured to capture a plurality of images over a period of time, and the plurality of images are analyzed to identify a facial expression and changes in the facial expression of the human driver over the period of time. The method further includes capturing, by a microphone of the vehicle, voice input of the human driver. The voice input is captured over the period of time. The voice input is analyzed to identify a voice profile and changes in the voice profile of the human driver over the period of time. The method processes, by a processor of the vehicle, a combination of the facial expression and the voice profile captured during the period of time to predict the mood of the human driver. The method generates the vehicle response that is responsive to the mood of the human driver. The vehicle response is configured to make at least one adjustment to a setting of the vehicle. The adjustment is selected based on the mood of the human driver. The vehicle response can be used to make the driver more calm and/or assist in reducing distracted driving.

While watching a movie, a user speaks lines of dialogue. The system records the speech, compares with the dialogue in the movie, and reports a score to the user. The system can share scores through an online service to create a community experience. In particular, the systems and methods disclosed implement a technique for matching user input to media content. A computer system receives audio input from a user (speech) and compares the received speech to dialogue in a movie or television program. For example, the computer system may convert the received speech to text and may compare the converted text against dialogue text using closed captioning or subtitle data. Alternatively, waveform data may be compared. The computer system generates a score for the speech based on how closely the speech matches the dialogue, and reports the score to the user through a user interface.
