The size of each image is controlled by the thickness of the front panel and the width of the pinhole aperture (acting as optical stops), and the distance to the X-ray detector, and these values are selected to prevent overlap between any pair of pinhole images on the X-ray detector. An image processor is used to generate a synthetic combined image of the object form the multiple pinhole images.

The magnetoresistive sensing units and the magnetoresistive reference units are respectively covered with a Pd layer, and a passivating insulation layer is deposited over the Pd layer of the magnetoresistive reference units. The magnetic multilayer thin film structure is made into a serpentine strip circuit by a semiconductor micromachining process. The hydrogen detecting method comprises placing the hydrogen sensor in a gas environment containing hydrogen, the Pd layers covering in the magnetoresistive sensing units absorb hydrogen to change the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of ferromagnetic layers in the magnetic multilayer thin film structures of the magnetoresistance sensing units, which makes the magnetic moment of the ferromagnetic layer rotate to produce a change in the magnetoresistance value that correlates to the hydrogen concentration. The resulting change of the magnetoresistance value changes the output voltage value of the referenced bridge structure, and this change of the output voltage value of the referenced bridge structure is used to measure the hydrogen concentration.

The instantaneous voltages are synchronously captured through high-voltage AC coupling in order to detect the voltage drop across each element of the rectifier. The sensed voltages are amplified in the low voltage domain and converted by a high-speed analog-to-digital converter in order to produce data useful in computing equivalent resistance values. From these values, power dissipation within the rectifier is calculated and real-time equivalent resistance is available.

Discernment of the type of crystal can lead to diagnosis of the particular disease condition and subsequent proper treatment of the disease condition.

To prevent the torque drop when shifting the gears, a ratchet-type one-way clutch (50) is disposed such that a rotational phase position of the ratchet-type one-way clutch (50) is coincident with that of the dog clutch (28). When shifting from the second speed to the first speed, since the rotational phase of the dog clutch (28) is adjusted by the ratchet-type one-way clutch (50), the shifting is instantaneously completed without waiting operation for the phase adjustment, resulting in preventing a transmission shock.
