NEO-201 is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody (mAb) that is highly reactive against the majority of tumor tissues from many different carcinomas, including colon, pancreatic, stomach, lung, breast, and uterine cancers, but the overwhelming majority of normal tissues are not recognized by this antibody. Functional assays revealed that NEO-201 is capable of mediating both antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) against tumor cells. Furthermore, the growth of human pancreatic xenograft tumors in vivo was largely attenuated by treatment with NEO-201 both alone and in combination with human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) as an effector cell source for ADCC. In vivo biodistribution studies in human tumor xenograft-bearing mice revealed that NEO-201 preferentially accumulates in the tumor but not organ tissue. A single-dose toxicity study in non-human primates demonstrated safety and tolerability of NEO-201, as a transient decrease in circulating neutrophils was the only related adverse effect observed.

A method for obtaining pure drinking water from dewatered biological products is described. The process is carried out in a hermetic dewatering chamber isolated from the ambient atmosphere and in parallel with a process during which dried products are placed on drying trays. All the process parameters, such as temperature, humidity, and appropriate pressure inside the chamber, are controlled. The vapor generated during the product dewatering process, released from the products, is continuously removed from the dewatering chamber through the upper opening, exits through the outflow channel, and enters through the condenser. The process of obtaining clean drinking water is carried out outside the chamber and is conducted in several stages: vapor passes through disinfectant grids, vapor flows to a condenser cooled with ice water, and the vapor condenses on densely arranged lamellas. The condensate is then pumped to a discharge tub.

The disclosure relates to motion planning for autonomous vehicles to find a contiguous path to travel from a source to a destination in a real time environment. But, motion planning suffers due to dimensionality problem during planning a path in high dimensional configuration space. Conventional a priori path planning techniques utilize deterministic selection of a seed and there is a challenge in providing resolution completeness, especially in a cluttered environment. Here, the resolution problem associated with the cluttered environment, is rectified by utilizing random seed generation technique. A convex region is grown around each seed and a set of hyperplanes are generated around each convex region. A contiguous polytope is created by utilizing the set of hyperplanes associated with each convex region. Further, an undirected graph is created based on a plurality of polytope points associated with the contiguous polytope and a shortest path in the graph is computed.

The fishing rod handling device is an apparatus that can reduce the amount of stress received by wrists of users when reeling in game fish. To accomplish this, the device includes a handle attachment and a forearm grip attachment that may be detachably mounted onto a fishing rod. The handle attachment allows a user to hold the fishing rod in a comfortable position, since the handle attachment is oriented in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the fishing rod. Further, the forearm grip attachment allows users to rest their forearms in a stable position, such that users may hold the handle attachment with their wrists and forearms in alignment. Additionally, a shoulder strap may be attached to the handle attachment, to provide additional support. Thus, the device allows for a strong and stable grip without causing any wrist injuries when reeling in game fish.

Systems and methods are described for selecting a sound type of interest from a first (e.g., master/global) machine learning library comprising information derived from reference audio stream data acquired from a plurality of farm animal operation reference sound monitoring events, including from a first farm animal operation monitoring event of a first farm animal operation, wherein the sound type of interest is associated with a condition state of interest of a first collection of farm animals. Further, information associated with the selected sound type of interest can be included a second machine learning library, wherein the second machine learning library is operational on an edge computing device located in proximity to a second farm animal operation. Audio stream data can be acquired from the second farm animal operation in a second farm animal operation monitoring event, and processed using the second machine learning library information to determine whether the sound type of interest is present in the acquired audio stream data, thereby generating information associated with the presence or absence of the condition during the second farm animal operation monitoring event.

A louver position sensing system for a sieve and chaffer of a combine harvester. One system provides that at least one sensor is in actual, physical contact with one or more louvers of the sieve and chaffer. Another system provides that a one or more magnet holders are mounted on louvers and, spaced away, sensors sense magnets in the magnet holders to determine the rotational position of the louvers. Either system allows for accurate, on-the-fly adjustment of the louvers in order to maximize the efficiency of operation of the sieve and chaffer. Preferably, the sensing systems are configured such that sensed position of the louvers is broadcast on the CAN bus of the combine harvester. As a result, the position information can be used to dynamically adjust the openings between the louvers of the sieve and chaffer to achieve more efficient grain cleaning as the machine and field variables change.
