The problem of detecting whether a urine sample is true human urine or a counterfeit urine product is solved by the use of reagent systems that detect two markers normally present in human urine. The markers acid phosphatase and alkaline phosphatase catalyze the substrates thymolphthalein monophosphate and p-nitrophenol phosphate, respectively. These substrates are formulated as spot tests on a dip stick or as reagents for use in automated chemical analyzers. The presence of the markers can be qualitatively detected by color-changes in the sample, formed by the pH-specific chromogens that result from catalysis of the substrates with the markers. The control reagent can further indicate whether a counterfeit urine product contains one or both of the chromogens.

The prismatic housing is a rigid structure that is used to conceal and protect the worm gear assembly. The torque input allows an individual to manually provide the torque force through the use of a ratchet tool, motor drive, or other similar tool. The torque output is able to receive a bolt socket in order for the tool to provide the torque force to a bolt of a crankshaft pulley. The worm gear assembly is used to transfer the torque force from the torque input to the torque output. Thus, the tool can easily remove or install a bolt.

A suction-extraction attachment for an insertion tool includes a housing, a bearing unit, and a suction-extraction opening. The housing has an end-side opening that is configured to accommodate the insertion tool. The bearing unit is configured to mount the suction-extraction attachment on the insertion tool. The suction-extraction opening is configured to couple the suction-extraction attachment to a suction-extraction device. The end-side opening and the suction-extraction opening form a transporting channel. The suction-extraction attachment is configured to be mounted on the insertion tool via the bearing unit in an axially movable and rotatable manner such that a position of the suction-extraction attachment relative to the insertion tool alters as a drill-hole depth increases.

The present disclosure includes a part hold-down assembly for retaining an oversized part. The part hold-down assembly is aligned along a central force axis and applies a downward force onto the part. The part-hold down assembly includes a top plate, a bottom plate, and a compression assembly extending between the top and bottom plates. The compression assembly includes two, parallel biasing assemblies that extend along compression axes that are parallel to but offset from the central force axis. Each biasing assembly including an upper collar, a lower collar and a resilient biasing member, in one embodiment in the form of a coil spring, retained between the upper and lower collar. The parallel biasing assemblies are positioned on opposite sides from each other about the central force axis, and may be spaced away from the central force axis an equal distance.

Systems, methods and apparatuses are used for monitoring material processing using imaging signal density calculated for an imaging beam directed to a workpiece or processing region, for example, during inline coherent imaging (ICI). The imaging signal density may be used, for example, to monitor laser and e-beam welding processes such as full or partial penetration welding. In some examples, the imaging signal density is indicative of weld penetration as a result of reflections from a keyhole floor and/or from a subsurface structure beneath the keyhole. The monitoring may include, for example, automated pass/fail or quality assessment of the welding or material processing or parts produced thereby. The imaging signal density may also be used to control the welding or material processing, for example, using imaging signal density data as feedback. The imaging signal density may be used alone or together with other measurements or metrics, such as distance or depth measurements.

An end assembly for use with a welding device having a contact tip, a diffusor body, and a gooseneck. The contact tip has a convex end surface that contacts and mates with a concave end of the diffuser body. The diffuser body forms a blind bore forming central web and a series of passageways. A longitudinal passageway segment is formed in the contact tip parallel with the central longitudinal electrode bore of the contact tip. A second passageway segment joins the first longitudinal passageway segment. When the contact tip is affixed to the diffuser body, a chamber is formed at the base of the contact tip communicating with the diffuser body passageways. Shielding gas that flows into the diffuser body passes through the web passageways into the chamber and through the first and second passageways of the contact tip to provide shielding gas to the weld site and cool the contact tip during welding operations.
