The volume of cold air in the fan chamber is produced by a plurality of fan assemblies that draw cold air from the coils, uniformly mixed and delivered to the entire length of the bottom of the conveyor belt. The vanes are adjusted to distribute the cold air in the fan chamber through the conveyor belt to prevent blowouts. The fan motors are mounted externally on the freezer housing for easier servicing.

The method comprises the steps of: Actuating a component, such as an expansion valve (4), a fan or a compressor (2), of the vapor compression system (1) in such a manner that a dry zone in the evaporator (5) is changed; measuring a temperature signal representing a temperature of refrigerant leaving the evaporator (5); analyzing the measured temperature signal, e.g. including deriving a rate of change signal; determining a temperature value where a gain of a transfer function between the actuated component and the measured temperature drops from a maximum value to a minimum value, in a decreasing temperature direction; defining the determined temperature value as corresponding to a zero superheat (SH=0) value of refrigerant leaving the evaporator (5), and controlling a supply of refrigerant to the evaporator (5) in accordance with the defined SH=0 temperature value, and on the basis of the measured temperature signal. The method steps may be repeated at certain time intervals in order to provide updated determinations of the SH=0 temperature value. The method allows the SH=0 point to be determined purely on the basis of the measured temperature signal. Subsequently, the supply of refrigerant to the evaporator (5) can be controlled purely on the basis of the measured temperature signal.

A pair of filter brackets on the venting device support an air filter behind a venting area, typically having louvers, of the venting device. Preferably, the air filter is sized to frictionally engage the filter brackets so it will be held in place but be easily removable from the brackets. A pair of duct brackets are mounted to the surface on opposite sides of the duct opening. A connecting mechanism connects the venting device with the duct brackets in a manner that allows the venting device to be pulled away from the surface to inspect, clean or replace the air filter without using tools.

A V-band may be placed over the flange interface to further seal the interior of the chimney sections, and a sealant may be placed in various positions of the chimney system to hermetically seal the interior thereof from the exterior. In another embodiment of the chimney system, insulation is added to create an insulated chimney system.

The LED lamps have first and second mechanical connectors at opposite ends of the lamp body, and the snap-fit connectors are configured to secure the lamps to an overhead lighting fixture or other support structure as an incident of the lamp ends moving relative to the mounting connectors in a substantially straight path that is transverse to the length of the body into an engaged position. The snap-fit connectors are also configured to form a network connection with an internal modular network connector associated with the lamp with the lamp mounted in its operative state on a support. To adjust the height of the stand, a user loosens either or both the top and/or bottom clamp (arm clamp or leg clamp) and slides the associated floating V up or down along the center column, then re-tightening the clamp when adjustments are finished. For transport and storage, the user loosens each clamp and rotates the arms or legs in, towards the column.

If the latches are not extended due to an obstruction or misalignment, the retracting case will prevent the piston member from completely passing through the bushing, thus maintaining high fluid pressure due to the flow ports remaining closed, and indicating to the driller that the latches have not properly latched.

The caregiver can stand close to the bed corners and repeat the process to enable the patient to gain strength in the oblique muscles necessary to initiate rolling on the bed. The device, when used interactively with the patient, encourages the patient and provides feedback to the caregiver regarding the patient's fatigue level.
