The correction bolus procedure calculates an initial correction bolus amount, and scales the initial amount to obtain a final correction bolus amount, such that a predicted future blood glucose level resulting from simulated delivery of the final correction bolus amount exceeds a low blood glucose threshold level. The final amount is delivered to the user during operation in the automatic basal insulin delivery mode.

The present invention relates to a paper cup provided with a heat conduction prevention plate. The paper cup is provided integrally with a heat conduction prevention plate by being attached to the paper cup, and thus it is not necessary for a user to frequently insert a separate heat conduction prevention plate into the paper cup when drinking a drink. Also, a certain space is formed between the integrated heat conduction prevention plate and the paper cup body, thereby effectively performing a heat conduction blocking function. Moreover, since the heat conduction prevention plate is provided in an area that can be held by a finger, it is possible to be manufactured at a low manufacturing cost, and the paper cup widens toward the top, so that the paper cup slips less from fingers.

A conventional plate is problematic in that oily juices from barbequed meat on an upper part of a plate run along linearly cut grooves when the plate is tilted, and thus tend to spill off the plate. In the present invention, thirteen raised parts curved in an outer peripheral direction are formed toward a direction of an outer edge from a middle part of the upper surface of a plate, and thus oily juices from barbequed meat that collect on the plate run along the raised parts curved in the outer peripheral direction from the middle part even when the plate is tilted, and can thus be made less likely to spill off the plate.

A business method associates provisioning costs with a usage history indicative of user computing demand, and coalesces the cost data to identify an appropriate provisioning level balancing the provisioning cost and the usage demand cost. Conventional computing environments suffer from the shortcoming of being prone to overprovisioning or underprovisioning a user. Such misprovisioning is inefficient because it denotes underutilized computing resources or ineffective and/or disgruntled users. Costs increase either due to the excessive hardware bestowed on the overprovisioned user, or in support costs addressing the underprovisioned user. Configurations herein substantially overcome such shortcomings by defining a policy indicative of overprovisioning and underprovisioning indicators (misprovisioning flags), and defining rules to specify a triggering event indicating the need to reassess the provisioning of a user.

A shallow trench isolation layer is formed on a structure comprising semiconductor fins. Portions of the fins are recessed to a level below the shallow trench isolation layer. Epitaxial stressor regions are then formed on the recessed fin areas. A bottom portion of the epitaxial stressor regions are contained by the shallow trench isolation layer, which delays formation of the diamond shape as the epitaxial region is grown. Once the epitaxial stressor regions exceed the level of the shallow trench isolation layer, the diamond shape starts to form. The result of delaying the start of the diamond growth pattern is that the epitaxial regions are narrower for a given fin height. This allows for taller fins, which provide more current handling capacity, while the narrower epitaxial stressor regions enable a smaller fin pitch, allowing for increased circuit density.
