A vehicle frame structure includes a front pillar having an internal space defined by a forward wall, a rear wall, an outer lateral side wall, and an inner lateral side wall. The internal space is partitioned by longitudinally extending first and second ribs connecting inside faces of the forward and rear walls and a laterally extending third rib connecting an inside face of the inner side wall and the first rib. The first, second and third ribs separate the front pillar into a plurality of interior hollow portions. Two laterally adjacent hollow portions define an outer lateral portion of the front pillar and two longitudinally adjacent hollow portions define an inner lateral portion of the front pillar.

A vehicle body exoskeleton includes a plurality of nodes each defining a receptacle. A plurality of tubes have first and second end portions smaller than and tapering inwardly from a main portion. Each end portion is received in one of the receptacles. An adhesive is applied to the end portions filling a gap defined between the receptacles and the end portions to bond the tubes to the receptacles.

A crash beam receiver for coupling to a crash beam for reducing the effects of a vehicle collision. The crash beam receiver includes a plurality of surfaces that are coupled together to form a hollow opening for receiving the crash beam. The crash beam receiver also includes a gate structure for providing a stopping point for the crash beam when the crash beam is inserted into the crash beam receiver. The gate structure includes a left gate, a right gate, and a protrusion structure that help to linearize the self-collapsing process of the crash beam in the longitudinal direction. The protrusion structure has a certain thickness such that the crash beam is caused to collapse inward toward its center in the event of a vehicle collision.

Systems and methods for automatically parking and wirelessly charging a vehicle are described. A database including parking and charging availability information can be searched based at least in part on the request, location information and model information of the vehicle. An available parking space is determined based on the results of the search, and information. The parking space may be equipped with a pad configured to wireless charge a vehicle parked in the parking space. When information indicating that the vehicle has been parked in the parking space, a parking status indicating such can be transmitted to a control device associated with the parking space. The vehicle can then be automatically and wirelessly charged by the control device through the parking space.

A bogie, including a frame (1) and a bolster (2), the frame (1) including two parallel side beams (11), and a cross beam (12) coupled to the middle of the side beams (11), wherein a primary suspension is arranged between an end of the side beam (11) and an axle box (31), a secondary suspension is arranged between the below of the bolster (2) and the cross beam (12), and a tertiary suspension coupled to a vehicle body is arranged above the bolster (2). By including a bolster and an extra suspension on the basis of the conventional two suspensions, the disclosed bogie can achieve separation of the functions, so that the tertiary suspension only handles the transverse displacement, and the secondary suspension only handles the rotation, thereby further increasing the relative displacement and rotation angle between the vehicle body and the bogie when the vehicle negotiates a curve.

A voltage monitoring framework is proposed to predict, report, and correct actions for performance impacting voltage droop due to power supplies in a system-on-a-chip. Both the amplitude and duration of the voltage droop are monitored. By predicting serious voltage droops early, power supplies cross check against each other to avoid catastrophic error, thus ensuring that integrated circuits making up the system-on-a-chip will maintain functional reliability.

Based at least in part on new sensed vehicle state data, a vehicle state model classification output is created. The operator state model classification output and the vehicle state model classification output are correlated, and operating parameters for the DAC are predicted.
