A metallic component includes a core formed of steel. A zinc alloy layer is disposed on the core. The zinc alloy layer is formed of zinc and a very small amount of aluminum, such as 0.14 weight percent or less. A method of creating a component includes providing a steel core, providing a zinc bath consisting of essentially of 0.01 to 0.14 weight percent aluminum, and hot dipping the steel core into the zinc bath to form a zinc coating on the steel core resulting in a zinc-coated steel component. The aluminum may be provided in even lower contents, such as less than 0.08 weight percent, or even less than 0.05 weight percent. The zinc-coated steel component may then be spot welded to another component without first annealing the zinc-coated component. Rather, heat treating is performed locally at the weld joint by the welding procedure alone.

Pucks are fitted at the gates to collect residual cold plastic. The calculation of a specific sequence and timing of the opening of the valve gates is determined based on a calculation of the total number of valve gates needed to fill a part while maintaining acceptable injection molding pressure. Once calculated, the gates are positioned around the mold cavity to balance flow length ratio. A primary gate is chosen for initial injection. The time for the material to flow from the first to the second gate is established. The second gate is opened after the flow front reaches the second gate. This pattern continues until all valve gates are opened.

The palm bark is dried under a natural state without additional processing. The palm leaf is made into a tannin resin adhesive solution under the effect of additives such as furfuryl alcohol, paraformaldehyde, and others. A pH value of the adhesive solution is controlled to be 9-11. A solid content is 40-60%. An adhesive amount applied to the palm bark by the resin adhesive solution is 800-1500 g/m2. Odd number of layers (three or more layers) of palm barks that are impregnated by the resin adhesive solution and are hot-pressed to the composite material. Hot-pressed parameters are as follows: the temperature is 150-180° C. the unit pressure is 0.8-1.5 MPa, and the time is 10-30 s/mm.

The wings are also affixed with squirrel claws to lock the adaptor in place for installing the fastener. The adaptor also includes flush indicators to indicate that the proper flush position of the reference surface against the vertical member is achieved. The wings are independently pivotal to accommodate situations wherein the tandem wing configuration cannot be employed. The fastener is retained within the adaptor fastener channel via a magnet assembly.

When open, a port can stabilize a drainage tube, or provide a passage through which to easily and rapidly apply a medicine. The medical bandage can be directly fit on the head or other body part, providing an all-in-one dressing, wrap and treatment, and eliminating the need for cumbersome and difficult to manage gauze roll and multiple bandages of various sizes, shapes, and uses. This disclosure relates generally to methods and systems for real time unobtrusive monitoring of physiological signals of a subject confined to a bed. Output of single channel continuous wave (CW) radars are dependent upon distance of the subject from the radar. Dual channel IQ radars are more accurate but are costly and availability in the market is a constraint. The present disclosure provides a cheap and easily replicable pseudo IQ radar based system. The pseudo IQ radar comprises two CW radars placed at a calibrated distance from each other such that optimum points of one CW radar spatially overlaps null points of the other CW radar and phase imbalance is suppressed. Three such pseudo IQ radars are positioned in a predetermined configuration around the subject being monitored. A Supervised Complex Signal Demodulation (SCSD) method configured to suppress amplitude and DC imbalance is also provided for evaluating the physiological signals.

A base station may indicate, to a user equipment (UE), one or more measurements to be performed on multiple transmit receive points (TRPs) for determination of TRP candidates for communications between the UE and the base station. The UE may perform the measurements on each of the TRPs, and transmit a report to the base station that is based on the measurements. The report may be associated with the TRP candidates. The base station may select one or more of the TRP candidates for communications with the UE, and may indicate the selected TRP candidates to the UE.
